Early on I complained about giving Ash a scholarship when the portal was available but I stand corrected.
Fran knew he had a tight knit group and Ash feeds into that, even if he rarely sees the floor.
Bringing in a 1 and done would have probably not been good for the amazing chemistry that this squad has found.

And Fran knew that.
I never should have doubted him.

I think this team would be just as good without him.

And could certainly be better with the right addition.

Adding the wrong guy isn't good though obviously
