Man, thanks for sharing that. What a draft class that was. Between the GM, the coach, and the story lines, how can anyone not love everything about the Lions? As a Dolphins fan, this was hard to watch. The Dolphins act as if the draft doesn’t exist. The Lions, on the other hand, hit on a lot of their draft picks.

I will admit that as a Hawkeye the only reason I was drawn to them was because they drafted two Hawkeyes. Now I'm all in for the foreseeable future. It would be awesome if they or the 49ers got Cooper DeJean, but I do not expect him to fall that far in the draft. I suppose you never know where you stand until the draft happens. Just ask Brian Branch.I'm going to stab a fork in my eyes after watching the Lions put on another draft masterclass and the Dolphins drafting another class where no one sees the field this season.

Especially considering that at different times they have had one of the best running backs, receivers and quarterbacks that have ever played the game. Barry Sanders, Calvin Johnson and of course, Chuck Long. The lions are an interesting case study. It’s almost statistically impossible for a team to be so consistently terrible for so many years. Think about it, 1957 or something like that was their last championship. They’ve been so consistently terrible since then, it’s almost statistically impossible for them to have been any worse for so long. I mean, you would think they could have accidentally fielded a competent team in all those years…..
