The facts about IOWA's Football schedule: TOP 7 in USA

Apparently, some fans just don't quite get it. Certainly every Hawkeye fan wanted a
BIG10 title, a PLAYOFF bid, another undefeated season. Sure.

But the FACT remains that according to the Sagarin Computer, after all is said
& done, IOWA played one of the TOP 7 toughest schedules in all of America.
That's the unbiased, regression analysis of Sagarins' computer and not some
Schumcks opinion on HR, or Coln Coward, either.

So, pleeeeeeeeeeease, stop with the 'we need to schedule tougher Non-conf'
whining that we get each season.

If Iowa State consistently goes to a bowl game, AND WE CONTINUE TO BEAT THEM, you will see less "weak schedule" talk. If they go to bowls but we don't beat them, our wins will be viewed as weak. If they don't go to bowls and we beat them, it will be viewed as weak. It is what it is.

Here is information about BIG teams and how many teams did they play with winning records.
Michigan - 4 with winning records
Wisconsin - 4
Northwestern - 4
Michigan State - 6
Ohio State - 6
Penn State - 7
Iowa - 8
