The key play of the game last night

Mikey G swiping the ball and scoring was huge. Happy for the little guy. He's worked his tail off and not always gotten the results, but that's a feather in his cap.

Sapp's 3 at the end was another Senior moment worth relishing. Good for him.

Utey finishes off with a layup. Guess we had our Senior Night in Ann Arbor.

Mike made a great play right there. It definitely felt like all momentum was going towards um, only to be ripped away by mg. All momentum shifted right back to Iowa on that play.

Yup I agree that was a HUGE play, and also Clemmons knocking down the 3 in the corner. The last 4 games, that shot has not gone down no matter what. Sapp got the ball in the corner and knocked it down. Those two plays were YUGE!

Before all that the play woody got on the floor got the timeout and saved the possession....and I believe we scored out of the timeout.

I was glad to see both Sapp & MG make some big plays down the stretch. Part of the reason Michigan was back in the game though was the 6-8 posessions up 15 where Sapp made 3-4 mistakes and MG had 1. That opened the door along with inability at times to rebound or grab a loose ball.

Very encouraged how they responded down the stretch when the lead was down to 6. Good job.

We didn't score out of that timeout. It was a feisty play by woody, but about the only good okay for the 2-3 minutes up to the steal by mike. It was a complete shift of momentum.

I can't recall a single Iowa player in his career who's hit the floor more than Woody. Considering he's 7'1" is pretty amazing, really. The man's a winner.

I would nominate scoring on 3 straight possessions to survive the 3 straight Walton Jr 3s. They should have made it a game at that point, but we ended up only seeing the lead dip from 9 to 6.
