Well Luke through 5 games, 3 catches per game with 17 yard average and ZERO TD's. Hardly 1st day NFL selection. Appears that distinction is drying up.

Kirk and coaches are trying no less than Lachey on that play.

They are not trying to adapt and change the same tendencies they do that cost them the loss to ISU.

This is way past the issue of Brian and Lester calling the plays they are allowed to use with the players they have.

That was a great effort. No doubt. But in big boy football, that's expected. And in big boy football winning is the goal, although trying hard is always a good thing. Lachey has been remarkably underutilized so far, and KF still is oblivious to the fact that QBs should be able to run and throw. Nearly every other team in the country has such a QB. Even Iowa. Only KF won't let the Iowa QB start, the one who can both run and pass--I belive his name is Sullivan.

McNamara only had three TOs yesterday, can't move, and at Iowa hasn't thrown a TD pass against a major college opponent. If you recall, when McNamara was lured to Iowa, Jim Harbaugh wished him good luck but said he might find things a little different because he wouldn't have Michigan's talent to help him out. Hate Harbaugh all you want, but he was exactly right, which is why Cade was beaten out of the top job at Michigan. Cade was a mediocre game manager on a great team . . . and he was healthy. He has no business starting for Iowa. But then KF wouldn't play Patrick Mahomes.
