The leader of the Republican Party jokes about having Liz Cheney executed

Wtf is wrong with you? Is there anything you can find fault in Trump? Talking about killing someone because they aren’t on your side, is some scary stuff from a POTUS candidate.
Come up with something real and not a hoax and maybe a non cultist will take you seriously
Trump is full of shit. He praises Putin for invading Ukraine but suggests Cheney face a firing squad for voting for military conflict. Hmm. Who’s best interest is he looking after?
You're becoming unhinged as you realize you're repeating another hoax.
Why are you lying?
It's all they have. Lies and hate.

Lol at conservatives now wanting full quotes and context. We had a 7+ page thread a couple days ago where they were all pissing themselves because "Biden called us garbage". Context and full quotes didn't matter then.

Hypocritical ass hats.
There was no context to biden comment, he literally just called people garbage. You gonna lecture us on phantom apostrophes? Lmfao Trump didn't even need context in this situation bc his message was unbelievably obvious. You're just in a cult.

Absolutely freaking hilarious how many of these people sound like a Dem from 2004.

They should go out and protest chanting "No more blood for oil" about 20 years too late. Maybe they could go on and tell us about how they put equal sign bumper stickers on their cars from the time too. Probably flew big rainbow flags from their homes too in support of gay marriage.

And we're pretty close to it now so might as well go prepare your lies about how you supported the affordable care act and/or how pissed you are that the Republicans lied to you about the death panels so you are now going to go show them how pissed you are by voting Republican.

For the record I didn't initially support the ACA either. But then again 2008 was the last time I voted for a Republican for president. So at least I can say I learned my lesson.

Take him seriously, not literally.

I can't take anyone seriously that I can't take literally.

Either your word means something or it doesn't.

Also I can't take seriously a man who goes on random tangents speculating about the size of Arnold Palmer's penis. Honestly that whole thing makes me wonder if Trump isn't bi and had the hots for Arnold Palmer back in the day.

Love how I'm personally calling out all these Republicans here as implicitly lying and only one person pushed back by saying he was lied to by others but is of course going to show that party how pissed he is about being lied to by them that he's gonna vote for them in the next election and presumably the rest of his life.

Come on Republicans, I'm calling you out personally on this one. Please tell me how you were so upset that Bush lied and people died that you voted for John Kerry in 2004.

You know what at the very least Liz Cheney doesn't run away from her support of the Iraq war. At least she doesn't try to bullshit me and tell me she never backed that.

Those 4 years of evidence to the contrary were when he had actual reasonable people in his administration who generally talked him out of it

His cult runs deeper now and he doesn't need those people anymore.

And for the record it's easy to vote for him when it's not your kids he's speculated about killing.
I am a 3-time combat zone veteran from OIF/OEF, I think I can speak to war and consequences.

Maybe, but the fact cons support a draft dodger who then goes on the attack on Liz who's father was once revered by the very same party for his strong stances is something.
didn't bill clinton dodge the draft? I feel like that might be the case?

The arc of future President Bill Clinton's controversial (in retrospect) activities in avoiding the military draft during the Vietnam War years of 1968-69 are difficult to trace with certainty in regard to all the details. By the time the issue became one of national interest in 1992, reporters and biographers were faced with reconstructing a 25-year-old account from the decades-old memories of those involved; some of the key participants were already dead, and the one person who knew the whole story, Bill Clinton himself, often responded to questions on the subject with misleading or inaccurate information. Nonetheless, available documentation and personal memories have enabled writers to reconstruct the essential elements of the tale. - Snopes

And are you going to tell me you opposed those wars and voted for Kerry?

Or are you going to tell me that you were so upset that the Republicans lied about the war that you voted for them for the rest of your life.

I'm not questioning your courage in a war. I'm questioning your integrity of being able to admit that you backed something politically that looks bad in hindsight

To be fair I'm not sure if you have attacked Cheney as a warmonger. But a lot of people on here are and I'm pretty sure nearly all of them voted for her father's electors.

And then he turns to Putin and praises him for invading Ukraine. He’s full of shit and is only saying this about Cheney because she opposes him. It’s disgusting.
Solid redirect but at least you partially acknowledge he didn't remotely do what the OP and his idol Aaron rupar are claiming. That's the point of the thread.

Regardless of if he did or not, he was attacked as a draft dodger when he was running.

He was also impeached based on lying about on affair with Republicans at the time saying a man who has an affair isn't fit to be president.

Funny how their views on that changed.

Except we knew that was false information from the get go. Media reported how false it was. You ignored it for "merica rah rah rah" then accused everyone who didn't back the war of hating America.

Your fault you trusted the Cheney over facts. Now you want to trust Trump over facts. I'm sure 20 years from now instead of taking ownership of your own poor choices in policies you will blame everyone else for it.
If everyone knew it was false information (ie war propaganda) then why did the Dems give in to Bush. The American people didn’t want the war and it wouldn’t have happened without Biden, Inc.

F*** your revisionist whitewashing. DC is a Uniparty.

So you are saying the Rs and Ds are the same? I was always told growing up that Ds were the soft draft dodgers. That they were the broken families that lacked good morals. Was told Republicans were strong military supporters who went to church and held strong moral and family values.

Boy things have changed... or I was brain washed growing up.

Nope. Not going that way. If Hilary or Biden or Obama said this, you'd be pissing yourself mad. Can't defend this. This is not normal so don't make it to be.
They freaked the **** out being called garbage (which they are). Can you imagine if Biden had said something like this? Biggest snowflakes ever

Such a maggot response. That isn’t what he said and he’s not sharp enough to even make that kind of connection. He specifically said nine rifles. What kind of war was he contemplating, dumbass?
I'm a maggot bc you can't read and/or comprehend simple words? Gfy.

TRUMP: "Dick Cheney's daughter is a very dumb individual. She's a radical war hawk. Let's put her with a rifle standing there with 9 barrels shooting at her, let's see how she feels about it when the guns trained on her face. They're all war hawks when they're sitting in Washington in a nice building saying "Oh gee, let's send 10,000 troops into the mouths of the enemies.' She always wanted to go to war with people.

Probably because it was popular initially however by 2004 most were clearly in opposition. It was pretty central to the 2004 campaign.

So I'm sure you voted for Kerry then right? I mean it was clear by 2004 that Bush had lied. So an honest upright person as yourself would not stand for the president lying to you to start a war and would immediately go to the polls to vote for the opposition candidate right? If for no other reason because the previous president lied and you knew it. John Kerry may have supported the initial invasion too. . . But he's not the one that told you that Saddam was trying to get Uranium. So you voted for John Kerry right?

And for the record I'm not even trying to rehash the entire Iraq war so much as I'm trying to say that you don't get to shout "Warmonger" at Liz Cheney for supporting the same war you supported.

If you can convince yourself this was about having her executed and not about sending her to fight in the wars she supports, it's scary what else you're probably convincing yourself of.
I know I’m going to catch some heat from my peeps on the left, but (to me) this whole quote - at least this excerpt - makes it pretty clear Trump is talking about politicians casually sending troops off to fight wars, not executing Liz Cheney.

That said, Trump is very good at sending messages while always leaving himself an “I never said that” out. Intentional or not, words carry meaning and he has influence over many people so if was Liz Cheney I’d lay low for awhile.

Finally, totally agree with Hoosier about all these righties talking about warhawks and the MIC. That’s just the excuse for not liking Cheney after she opposed their Dear Leader. I showed in a thread recently how Northern was a big Liz Cheney fan until 2021. So yeah, spare us all the nonsense.

The key word is jokes… you already know he wasn’t serious, yet you’re all poopy pants over it anyway.
Who gives a fuc if he’s serious or not. You don’t say shit like that. Some nut job might decide to do the job for him. It’s careless and it baffles me how people like yourself continue to excuse the inexcusable. At some point you’re as morally bankrupt as Trump.

I've been called garbage by my president, I've been labled a facist, a rape supporter, trash, homophobic, xenophobic, bigot, and that's from people who don't even know me. I refuse to be lectured by strangers about hateful speech because I refuse to say chicks with dicks are women.

I can be and have been critical of Donald Trump and the things he has said. It's possible he will jail his political opponents if he gets back into power, just like he did Hillary and just like he did anyone who fought him from doing anything he wanted while he was president... oh wait.

The problem with all the levied accusations "dictator day 1" etc. is that we have 4 years of evidence to the contrary.
MAGA supporters are all of what you have just said. Trump will be way worse this time around. Women, independents, and sane people get this, which is why he’s going to lose the election.

Liz simply needs to go away. She cant out liberal the liberals and 75% of conservatives would never vote for her.

She may run but she wont get the R, or the D, nomination.

She's not running for office, she's trying to convince Republicans who are concerned about Trump's insanity that it's ok to vote for a Dem over an insane Republican.

You are right she's unlikely to win office any time soon. Republicans hate her because she turned on their cult leader. Dems won't forgive her for being a Republican.
