The leader of the Republican Party jokes about having Liz Cheney executed

What exactly is the lament that someone didn't go fight in an immoral war?
How many were killed in Afghanistan under the Trump watch vs. Biden? How do you justify Trump not getting out of Afghanistan?

As usual, I fully expect you to avoid these questions.

lol….. but you don’t question all of the other BS media outlets? The US has become a nation of propaganda that is run by the Democratic media to sensor and mutate any story to satisfy their own agenda. Even the White House and Politico actually changed the transcript of Biden this week. If there was no video, nobody would know.
The NY Post is not legitimate news. It's like the paper version of Fox.

Oh really? Do explain what was ever "right" about Hunter's laptop. Still waiting to hear what was on that.
Even though it's been labeled as evil, nobody actually knows what was on it. Obviously the Deep State at work.

I have not heard, has Fox News paid their hundreds of millions of dollars of fines yet for lying to their viewers about Trump's lost election Big Lie for so many years? I know they were forced to go on air many times and admitted to doing it, just had never heard if they actually paid their hundreds of millions of dollars in fines?

The lament is that others, without Trump's financial means, did in fact get drafted and served. Whether the war was immoral had nothing to do with it. Trump avoided the draft with a bogus medical deferment - the consumate draft dodger who should be reviled by every vet.

Telling warhawks that send other people's sons and daughters to fight far away foreign wars to go fight themselves?

OP writes another BS thread title.
My understanding was that Trump said all that heated rhetoric led to the attempts on Trump's life, and everyone needed to tone things down. Why is he talking about having people killed?
He's getting desperate, and the real Donald is showing himself. He's an unhinged 80 year old man. He can't control his emotions. It's elder abuse to vote for him.

I have zero problem with people who decide to avoid being swept into an immoral war if they can find a way.

My dad did two tours in Vietnam. REMF in the USAF stationed at Tan Son Nhut (Saigon). He opted for it so his two younger brothers in the Army didn't have to serve in theater (one ended up in Korea as a Nike tech).

He's voting for Trump, and would happily tell you how much better his personal VA experiences were under Trump compared to before.

Trump took advantage of the system do avoid the draft. Fine. As you say, many of us - particularly for that war, would have done the same if they had the same advantages.

Most of us wouldn’t then take shots at vets over and over again however.

Make the moral case for continued Western imperialism in Vietnam.
I'll hang up and listen.
Well, given that ended almost 50 years ago I don't see the point.

It should be noted that it ended in large part to progressives in the US using the power of protest to demonstrate the lack of support.

You're not good at this.

It's the Mueller Report you haven't actually read.
The Mueller Report, officially titled Report on the Investigation into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election, does not discuss Western imperialism in Vietnam or any issues related to Vietnam specifically. The report, published in 2019, focuses on examining Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and whether there was any coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian officials.

The report is divided into two main parts:

  1. Russian Interference: Describing Russian efforts to influence the 2016 election, including social media campaigns and cyber operations against entities associated with the Democratic Party.
  2. Obstruction of Justice: Exploring whether President Donald Trump attempted to obstruct the investigation into Russian interference.
Given its specific focus on these topics, the report does not address broader international relations issues, including Western influence or imperialism in Vietnam or any other country.

Well, considering the many instance of fake news and propaganda coming from the left wing media, I would think you would hold caution to news from many of its sources also.
Let me know when left wing media settles for 787 million for lying to their viewers.

Gotcha. The rules of situational ethics and selective moral outrage applied here.
Nothing selective about it. The man currently running for president lied about having bone spurs and daddy intervined so he could dodge the draft. Pretty black and white. Pretty cut and dried. Pretty unethical. But that's par for the course for Bonespurs the presidential candidate. Unethical and characterless.

I watched the clip. Anyone not suffering from severe TDS understood what he was saying bc it was obvious. Jfc even Jonah Goldberg and Bill Maher have already acknowledged it. What's that make you?
Such completely full of shit people. Engaging in fine point semantic distinctions when defending Trump's thought and talked-out comments fantasizing about Lynne Cheney facing down a firing squad, throwing epic hissy fits when a Democrat misspeaks.

And again, because of the sane-washing, this is just 1 out of about 10 zillion disqualifying comments/thoughts coming from Trump in the last decade.

From Tim Alberta's piece on the Trump campaign, here's some more, try to clean up this one:

"At the end of June, in the afterglow of a debate performance that would ultimately prompt President Joe Biden to end his campaign for reelection, Donald Trump startled his aides by announcing that he’d come up with a new nickname for his opponent.

“The guy’s a retard. He’s retarded. I think that’s what I’ll start calling him,” Trump declared aboard his campaign plane, en route to a rally that evening, according to three people who heard him make the remarks: “Retarded Joe Biden.”"

I know you haven’t. Nice projection though.
You posted propaganda that deliberately omitted key facts (Fusion GPS was behind the Steele Dossier and Alfa Bank ping hoaxes), and because you're ignorant, you thought it was a refutation.

All it did was highlight what you didn't know, and thereby how easily you are misled when the press you read leaves out facts.

Whatever floats your boat.

I agree he’s unqualified for the office. But as far as I’m concerned there’s plenty of reasons not to vote for him - not serving in an illegal and unconstitutional invasion of a sovereign country is way down at the bottom of my priorities list.

You fool!

How can anyone be dumb enough to fall for this crap. Trump stated what every real American is thinking. Liz Cheny would change her mind about endless wars very fast if she was on the front line. How can democrats support her and dick Cheney? Democrats for Dick Cheny ?

Nobody is normalizing anything, the left is flat out lying about what was said. If you're worried about getting people killed, then the truth should be what is shared, not inflammatory bullshit.
If you want to ignore what he says that's your business. I chose to point it out because it's dangerous and does not suit a POTUS or a POTUS candidate. We need to rid ourselves of this POS.

This is a terrible case of using one clip from a whole interview. JD Vance said the same thing and gave the same example two nights ago. They were talking about War, Dick Cheney was all about going to war. Trump was saying, “let’s put Liz in their with barrels pointed at her and see how she feels.” This is a stupid thread, and I’ve read a lot of them. Nothing more than twisting words. Trump can put his foot in his mouth, but this is not one of them.
The problem with these types of comments is there are crazy MAGA, as we've seen, that will take action based on these comments.
