Hawks should win comfortably tomorrow, but for some reason, I'm a little anxious about the game. Hawks had an unexpected layoff to break their routine. NW has been heading down in the standings and is desperate for a win. Hawks started their downward spiral, and they will be ready to play. Hawks need to come out a take care of business early.

I remember when you chalked up the Mildcats as a sure win, but I also recall some nightmare finishes over in Evanston the past twenty years.

Exactly the reason you shouldn't call them Mildcats. They're a legit Big Ten team that plays more comfortable at home. Iowa has to be on their game to come away with a win tomorrow. Iowa's the better team, but after seeing todays games, it's not about whether you're the better team, it's about whether you can make the home team uncomfortable on their home floor....Ohio St was able to accomplish that and Michigan was not, by 1pm tomorrow we should know whether Iowa can live up to that challenge!

I have a nickname for most of the other B1G teams, like Illannoy, Purdon't, the Goofers... NW has a solid team this year.

This exactly on point.

Northwestern will make 15 3 pointers tomorrow

They could, and that's the sort of thing they would need to beat Iowa. And it could happen. Between Kopp, Buie, Audige and others they have some guys who can shoot. If you can guarantee that Buie goes 1-8 again, I like Iowa's chances.

Northwestern got everyone's attention when they started out 3-0. So they didn't fare so well and lost 4 in a row. But they are a decent team. Iowa will get open shots. Can we make them?

Never mind 😏 Offensive clinic by the Hawks. NW's PG has to play much more team BB, if NW is going to win many more games. Those 25 ft 3s look good when they are going in, but there are very few teams that can outshoot Iowa.

I wasn't trying to disrespect NW by calling them the Mildcats, Let's beat the Hosers Thursday.
