The NBA Finals does nothing for me .

The NFL has the Super Bowl and it is like a national
holiday, everyone picks a team to cheer on to victory.

MLB has the World Series and most of America roots
for someone to win the best of seven Fall classic.

The NBA does not have the prestige of the NFL or MLB.
Playing basketball in June does not mesh with the
Summer days of boating, swimming, golfing, and vacations.

I'll watch most of the game because I enjoy watching Curry and James. If the Spurs are in it then I make a point to watch all the games. Great fundamental basketball on both ends and Pop is one of the greatest coaches of all time.

Most of America roots for someone in the World Series? Is this the 1960's?

You are incorrect sir. Please note this tweet from Darren Rovell:

Game 1 viewers: 2015 NBA Finals (17.8M), 2014 World Series (12.2M) & 2015 Stanley Cup Final (5.5M)

The NBA Finals are great. I'll watch every second of every game. I already watched most of the games in the playoffs.
