Nice and Great point. Friend was watching game with said same thing at half. Sucks for all the husker fans that have to hang on to those lame red balloons for least another 20 minutes.
If they get rid of Riley, Nebraska will lose its Calibraska pipeline! Can't let that happen!
So does this Keyshawn Jr isn't come back? No matter who the coach is I'd be surprised if he does come back.
I'm shocked the commits haven't started decommiting with the hand writing on the wall concerning Riley.
They should be competing regularly for B10 West titles in a few short years. Stay the course!

Riley is the complete package. Almost - he just needs a cat, and all will be well with Nebraska football. Someone get him a cat.

Mike Riley has the Huskers in a great position today, being a near pick em game against the vaunted Gophers. Something I know a lot of Huskers fans can be proud of. I think an extension of Riley would be a wise move and hawk fans would be worried about them returning to glory and restoring the order
He is a huge step up for Nebraska's image compared to their last two head coaches. Unfortunately, just not producing enough wins. I was actually hoping he'd have some success other than vs. Iowa. Assuming they don't get Frost, it will be interesting to see what direction they go. Do they go after someone like Leach or Kelly with big upside but questionable past or another Riley type. I'm guessing the latter. Still think Bielema would be a great fit there, but don't think they'll go that way.
I know Vegas has Frost to Florida. Who do you think will be the second coach to turn down the Huskers job?
bottom line is Riley has recruited very well and it would be very unwise to let him go
