The tax returns are here! The tax returns are here!

Anyone find the deduction for the Muscovite prostitute’s golden shower yet? You know that crook wrote it off…

Why not? Seriously the only thing the Republicans do is engage in vindictive politics. But the second the Dems do anything it's suddenly a bad idea.

Besides if he has nothing to hide...
okay then if you have nothing to hide, please post your tax returns on HROT

It's not vindictive in the slightest. Trump is running for President again. Voters deserve to know what kind of man he is to make the best choice on whether to hire him.
It’s fascinating to observe your mind at work. This is 100% vindictive politics.

It is customary, not obligatory, for POTUS candidates to release their returns. There is no legal imperative for the returns to be made public at this time.

You may FEEL that way Huey, but in America we have laws. The laws say none of your feelings mean shit. If you want to make a president releasing tax returns mandatory, make it a law.
You're the one basing this on feeling. The Courts said that Trump has no protections on this. I understand this hurts your feelings, but that's the way it is. Absent another court challenge Congress appears to have the rightful authority to do this.

The courts said that? The courts said j6 needed them, not the public, is my understanding.

He is an official candidate for 2024. Given his corrupt nature it is more than fair for Congress to make this information public. We deserve transparency, not more lies.

How was it you made all those usernames when you got banned?

I know you're not capable of self deprecating humor, so I know that I'm missing some part of the joke. I haven't been banned. You got put in time out for something I can't recall earlier this year, something to do with peeing yourself, I'm sure.

Help me understand your comment.

It’s not the House Democrats’ role to do that. Releasing the actual returns is not necessary to exercise their oversight of the presidential audit process and make their recommendation to codify the process into law.

There is a partial truth there. I got caught up in the NC5 thread and got banned. After realizing it was NC5 who had committed the offense @Mike Zierath unbanned me and wrote a post on the thread saying it was a mistake to have done so.

Don't sweat it.

Adam Schiff is going to be one of the first people that goes to jail over his Trump derangement syndrome. Dude was hell bent on taking Trump down, he certainly crossed lines to find dirt somewhere.
Common man! Nobody on team blue goes to jail for anything, unless your name is Weiner.

Trump tried to overthrow the government. I think it's definitely Congress' place to make public any non classified information they have on the man.

The Supreme Court said the House could have them.
They didn’t weigh in on releasing them to the public.

They also didn't say the House was prohibited from releasing them to the public. By all rights, the Courts stepped aside on this issue to keep his returns private.

One of you moral avatars not named moral, or wsc, took a hammer and came back like 5 times. I think I've actually confused you of being that guy before and went back and figured it out. Idk all you @Moral avatars look the same to me.

I don't get worked up enough to get banned - I may accidentally post a nipple - and I certainly am not engaged enough to return with fresh handles. Not sure who that poster is, maybe Rudolph.

I said in one of the first posts i think it’s a vindictive move and akin to abuse of process by the House Dems on that committee.
Please explain how this is an abuse given the Courts refusing to protect Trump on this, Trump running for 2024, him promising to release them himself, and his history of corruption?

That's the funny part. I thought I had accused Randy of doing it and after looking back had figured out it was actually you. It's whatever dude.

Chis, liking things, but not having the balls to comment until twitter tells him how to spin his two years of wasted outrage is peak Hort.

Edit: by 2 I mean 6, because the dude bitched about it the entire time Trump was in office.

The House has oversight authority. They were looking at the presidential audit process. They concluded Trump’s returns did not undergo the audit process. They recommended this process be codified into law to make it mandatory.

They didn’t need to release the returns to do any of that.

Bit of a juxtaposition that you can't figure shit out and are operating under the belief it is I who is out of control, don't you think?

Not at all, those things are unrelated.

You've gone from a cryptic reference to me being banned - when in reality - the only one between the two of us who has needed a timeout, is you. You seemed to acknowledge you confused me with some other poster. Then moments later you're back to saying that something - not sure what - was actually me!

Actually me what, I have no idea.

The reference to controlling yourself was your manic, rapid fire posting in this thread. Given the context of your difficulties in controlling yourself (getting a timeout, planning to fight people, etc.), I was glad to see it seemed like you were cooling off.

Hope that helps.
