It is customary, not obligatory, for POTUS candidates to release their returns. There is no legal imperative for the returns to be made public at this time.
You're the one basing this on feeling. The Courts said that Trump has no protections on this. I understand this hurts your feelings, but that's the way it is. Absent another court challenge Congress appears to have the rightful authority to do this.

He is an official candidate for 2024. Given his corrupt nature it is more than fair for Congress to make this information public. We deserve transparency, not more lies.

It’s not the House Democrats’ role to do that. Releasing the actual returns is not necessary to exercise their oversight of the presidential audit process and make their recommendation to codify the process into law.
There is a partial truth there. I got caught up in the NC5 thread and got banned. After realizing it was NC5 who had committed the offense @Mike Zierath unbanned me and wrote a post on the thread saying it was a mistake to have done so.

The House has oversight authority. They were looking at the presidential audit process. They concluded Trump’s returns did not undergo the audit process. They recommended this process be codified into law to make it mandatory.
They didn’t need to release the returns to do any of that.
