The worst doctors - podiatrists...

You forgot to put quotation marks around "doctors" when referring to podiatrists....
A good doctor is hard to find.
Most of them refuse to listen. To be fair, they probably get their fair share of folks who went to Web MD and think they know what they are talking about but that is no excuse for ignoring a patient's concerns.

My neighbor is a podiatrist, from the horror stories that he's shared about other people's feet, those doctors are not paid enough, imo. Fungus, rot, insects, worms, etc. Barf.
The times I have gone for plantar fasciitis or similar foot pain all I ever hear is you need arch supports. I don’t need arch supports. Last happened 4-5 years ago. Tried the arch supports. Cortisone shot finally fixed it. I haven’t worn arch supports since. My feet don’t hurt. CSB
Hey, at least they went to a real medical school and did residency. Unlike chiropractors.

During my shoe days, I would see some real messes folks called feet. Women with bunions wheee the toes would run sideways…guys with terrible hammertoes abd ingrown toe nail complications….. YuCK!
I gave gas ingrown toe nail issues but thankfully my podiatrist removed the entire nail and it grew back properly abd I haven’t had an issue with it fir a number of years…
Get shoes fit correctly! #1 cause of foot problems in human beings! I have had gals tell me they wear a size 7 and they “fit” to a size 9! No wonder their ties grow sideways! Guys need to give their toes MORE room in length and width!
I once had a kinesiology prof who told tghe class they would be better off throwing away their shoes and wearing the boxes the shoes came in.

Hey, I didn’t just get back from Nam! I have petty yet manly feet. I could be a foot model. Many are saying it. It’s what’s on the inside that’s killing me. 4 surgeries and it’s getting worse. Spent more money on shoes in the last few years than my first 50…
I had one give me shot a cortisone shot in the bottom of the foot for plantar fasciitis once.
I had no idea it required the needle to be inserted for an extended period of time. Nothing I care to repeat.
