Especially Week leading up to the game 2 years ago when you guys were 9-2 coming into Iowa city. couldn’t hear enough on this board and was littered with husker fans talking how last years win was it for Iowa and Riley has them rolling in year 2 already and going to destroy Iowa in that game and years to come. Then even after loss was watch out he has his players now and the Cali braksa connection was coming. Then 10 months later ready to run him out of town
I think Frost will be successful at Nebraska, although not to the fans expectations. They’ll be a 7-9 win team, with the occasional great season, much like Iowa.

I wasn't spouting anything about Riley. Also, about 50% of posts on this board were about firing Ferentz just 14 days ago. The point of my response was that
A. Pelini actually had a winning record vs. Iowa
B. No sane Nebraska fan talked up Riley
The difference between Iowa and Nebraska is that Iowa doesn’t fire coaches on a impulse whike Nebraska does.

Frost could elevate himself to Bo levels, but the early returns suggest that's a stretch.

Even if Frost does elevate himself to Bo’s level, it won’t be acceptable to their fans. They want the 80s and 90s back. The problem is, their recruiting isn’t where it needs to be for a consistent 10-12 win team. And it’s not going to be.
