He was at 19-19 when he was fired, and the athletic dept was a mess. It's not fun to start over again, but we'd have been stuck in the gutter forever with that guy. I get it that Frost went 4-8 his first year, but moving in another direction was 100% necessary. You have plenty of fans who have thought that about Ferentz for the past few years too. Ferentz is better than Riley though, by quite a bit.
And so far, better than Frost too. Better luck next time.

I would agree with this. I think he will be right there with Iowa, Wisconsin, and Mich State. Bounce back and forth between an average year to a decent one. But I don't know if the Husker fans will be ok with that. Very much like some of the Hawkeye fans not being ok with Ferentz anymore.

There are delusional people everywhere that support every team in every sport across the globe. To act like Nebraska fans are the one and only fanbase that has idiots making ludicrous statements is awfully naive and ignorant. Hell I saw an Iowa fan's post from a couple days ago in which he claimed it had been 20 years since Nebraska won 10 games in a season, forgetting the fact that it had happened 7 times in that timespan to Iowa's 5. Does that mean that all Iowa fans are a bunch of overly-biased morons incapable of doing as simple as a Google search? Absolutely not. Nebraska football has millions of fans, there are bound to be some without the brain power to think rationally. When it's quite obvious who those people are just ignore them!

When was the last time they led vs Iowa, 2014? And how much time in that game did they have the lead? Not much at all. This series hasn't been real competitive recently. Hopefully Frost can get things turned around so Nebraska is looked at as a good win.

Lol Nebraska just paid Scotch Frost $1.25 million per win. Kirk also has donated $1million (with many other generous donations) to the children hospital right behind the Husker bench that 2/3 of the Husker bench conventiently chose to ignore.

Mediocre? Nebraska is the definition of mediocre the past 15 years. Kirk has brought several better year's in that time frame. He's a great ambassador for the University & does everything he can to put the University in a positive light. Would it be nice to have a few more wins? Be like Bama, OSU etc? Sure everyone wants that. I'd say Iowa is smart for not constantly recycling coaches. It takes time for programs to be built & to succeed at a high rate. Check the top 25 programs for wins in that time frame. I'll bet you Iowa is on that list. Think about how many once proud programs have sunken into obscurity - the list is long, but distinguished. Save the talk & show results. Will be better for your look going forward.
