My recollection in 2024 when I donated, you had to be over $1000 donation to choose the sport you wanted your money directed towards. Perhaps that has changed for 2025. I doubt most fans were over the $1000 donation threshold to be able to pick their allocation.

Fran has never made it past the round of 32 at Iowa and you can count his total number of NCAA tournament wins here on one hand. He hasn’t been a terrible coach but he’s not better than mediocre. He’s had 15 years here and in my opinion hasn’t impressed.
He will be 66 next season; I don’t think he’ll be back next year. Whether it’s a buyout or he simply resigns is hard to say but I think he’s done. My sense is that he will want to watch his kid at Butler.
He was clearly an improvement from Lickliter but overall has been underwhelming, particularly in tournament games. Time for a change; nobody really cares about mens bball anymore.

They did make some shots, but got in the double bonus early and got to the line. The last 8 mins was a slow bleed for Iowa

I won[t donate a penny to Iowa basketball until Fran is gone. He played his sons before NBA talent, think about that. His name once he is gone should never be mentioned again. Bucky O'Conner, Ralph Miller, Lute Olson, George Raveling, Dr. Tom Davis........Iowa basketball has been shit since then, Fire Fran.
Yeah having a shot at an invite is better than the current situation, but pretty much this. It would be another short stay at the dance.
Iowa accepts mediocrity. No true goal of championships. Indiana is parting ways with Woodson because mediocrity isn’t acceptable in that program. Iowa accepts 14+ years of it. We hate Nebraska but they will change coaches until they get someone who can win titles. We’re happy with mediocre to good.
Wisconsin is a nice team. Tonje and Blackwell with about 6 other guys on any given night. I thought we competed but no answer for tonje down the stretch. Brock will be fine imo.
