I read the first part. The article started off with a summary of what is going on and to me the Admin is doing bad stuff.
As I have said, if they want to audit these departments do it but you do not have to shut them down or compromise their operations unless you find something drastic. We don't really have the media either. At least not MSM, they all bent the knee and social media is all owned by oligarchs. Things aren't looking too good at the moment.

The executive branch has certain powers prescribed to them, it's a question of whether or not they're able to actually shutter a congressionally created and funded agency. (it doesn't seem they do)

I've chosen to sit back and let the results of this administration speak for itself. I assume it is going to be an unmitigated disaster, but I'm also not too proud to admit if I'm proven wrong. Luckily, my demographics allow me to probably get by with little hassle.

Medicare fraud is not uncommon in many of these “clinics” where they overbill in order to get reimbursed more than what the diagnoses and treatment calls for.
I’m not defending the audit but frankly the reimbursements are so low that it’s an area ripe for fraud. I blame the government in part for reaping what they sow.

It’s not unusual to read about clinics (especially here in Florida with so many people on Medicare) to add in codes on billing that bill for things the Doctor or PA never addressed and the patient didn’t ask for.
We hear a lot that Docs are investigated for fraud.
It’s a big problem in SoFla.
Everyone hears welfare fraud and they think of the poor people as the offenders. Quite often its the middle-men finding ways to take advantage of the system.
OK, so how is Medicare at fault for that? Is the IRS at fault if you cheat on your taxes?
