Only one finalists, hard to win it all. Positive note is everyone wrestling today went for it.

We could have won this in the medal round. If only Steiber wins in the finals Iowa could have won with a Clark victory.

Not sure about the mathematical possibilities, but we are most likely in a battle to hang on to 2nd place. Edinboro may have a shot to catch us, not sure if anybody else does. Not a bad tourney, not a great one. It was there for the taking, didn't get it done as a team at the end of the day. The sun will still rise tomorrow.
Second place sucks. But Penn State, Okie State and Minnesota are not even top five. There are different levels of sucking.
4 losses in OT matches today. That is 5 straight losses with only an 11 point deficit. Fair to say Iowa left A LOT of points on the mat.

This morning's session was the wrestling equivalent of the 2003 Orange Bowl: couldn't have started any better, or ended much worse.
You have to figure Logan will win with bonus. Not enough points left to catch.
I am going to be called a heretic but all things considered not a bad finish. No 4th place. We are up there and have a good squad coming.
I personally don't think adding nick and Rutherford is going to make them the shoe in. TOSU will be tough but I think it will become even more level.
Proud of our boys but you have to hand it to Ohio state. They wrestled their asses off.

Now it's over. Guys wrestled hard even following adversity. Ohio State deserved to win. They won the matches where they were underdogs. courts may have been their MVP.

They did indeed, they bonused the crap out of people in the process. I'm sure we'll see the tallies for that later. Iowa had some awesome performances in individual matches, just not enough of them.
Ohio State has clinched as of this writing. Congrats to them. They deserved what they got.
Ohio St. did deserve to win the way they wrestled this weekend. I think they will be a tough out again next year with the young guys like Snyder and Tom, also have Hunter coming back and if his elbows are better he is a solid wrestler as well. PSU will be tough with the addition of all the guys they redshirted this year, while building for next year. Iowa does have some guys to replace next year, all though 3 of the Seniors didn't get them anything for points this year. Iowa should still be a contender though. All I know is it's going to be a long wait until next season and the anticipation of what they can do. Hope there are some serious changes in the rules as far as stalling goes before next year. Don't ever give credit to an Ohio State athletic program. They don't deserve it, regardless of what you or anyone else has to say to this in reply and end it with a 'just sayin" like I'm about to do..................
