This is the best specialty fast food sandwich you can buy in America

How does that only have 790 calories? The bun has to be close to 200, and the hamburger patty another 200. Mayo another 50 to 100. I would think a deep-fried-bun-sized-relatively-thick cheese curd patty would be at least 500 calories on its own. Oh, and wood smash.

Three words: Wisconsin Magic.
I liked Culver’s when they first came to town but their quality went downhill Bigly. The last time I went there was in September 2017, the night of the FSU Alabama game. That meal was straight garbage, as was our team that season.

I didn’t try it the last time it came around because all I can envision is one big, greasy mess. If it came out looking like that picture I’d probably go for it. But you know it will come out like this:

If we expand into breakfast, Hardee's biscuit sandwiches are maybe the best thing in fast food. And those sourdough burgers are a minor consolation if you miss breakfasthardee's says hold my Diet Coke

If you can actually find a clean, properly staffed one (kind of a tall order) Popeye's chicken sandwich is superior to Chik-Fil-A.

The deluxe can come out pretty mashed up! I’ve had it not be so great a few times. Just thinking a big old greasy cheese curd is gonna make it worse!

I prefer Popeyes too. Im all in on the chik fil a nuggets and Polynesian sauce but the Popeyes sandwich is just better.
Also Popeyes biscuit is great. I can only eat one because they’re a little sweet but I like it
Hopefully it’s just a franchisee issue and not an across the board problem. Culver’s here was good 10 years ago.

I pretty much only ever get Culver's in the upper Midwest and I can't think of any that have been sub-par.
I wonder if the farther you get from the home office (Wisconsin), the less stringent the franchisees are on adhering to standards.
I ate at one in Dodgeville, WI and Decorah in the last 6 months. Both experiences were mediocre.
Not a huge fan of fried foods on top of a burger, for me the extra breading dries everything out.
So when I find myself in this situation I just drench it all in ranch. Problem solved.
