This is a new mall fire
"A shopping center in Moscow, Russia is on fire."
"The blaze has caused the roof of the large shopping mall to collapse as firefighters struggle to tackle the flames. Investigators are looking into possible arson or failed safety regulations.
One of the largest shopping malls near the Russian capital was engulfed in flames on Friday with authorities saying they were looking into the possibility of an arson attack.
The fire spread across an area of around 7,000 square meters (75,000 square feet) at the Mega shopping mall in the town of Khimki on the outskirts of Moscow and just seven kilometers (four miles) from the capital's Sheremetyevo Airport.
Videos shared on social media showed thick black smoke rising from a large blaze while others showed people running away through the parking lot."

This is the kind of Russian propaganda that thrives when our media mischaracterizes "we should account for the billions we're sending to Ukraine and not treat it like a blank check" as "support for Ukraine is going to go away when Republicans take the house"
We should be wary of how our own disinformation is used against our interests in this scenario. Scoring political points at home could come at a cost abroad.
True. However, I don't think China is doing shit for a long time, given how they have seen western military equipment and doctrine perform in real life. Countries can flex all they want with war games/exercises, but when you see the proof of concept (or not) with actual people dying (or not) and equipment getting blown up (or not), they have to be thinking twice about whatever plans for aggression which they have. There are other effects...

Report to Congress finds arms deliveries to Taiwan have been slowed by Ukraine war
Delays in delivery of weapons such as F-16 fighter jets, Stinger air-defense missiles and Paladin self-propelled howitzer artillery to Taiwan were noted in November report by U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission.www.legion.org
I'd like to see Taiwan armed to the teeth before China get's any funny idea's. Our policy of limiting weapons sales to Taiwan (they pay for the stuff) as to not piss off China is bad policy in hindsight. (see Ukraine).True. Generally, I would agree, but it would appear this fire started in the night, when the place was empty, so if it was an intentional act, it was done in a way to minimize the danger to people. Way different than a busy shopping place, or a hospital or apartment building that would be full of people.I hope it wasn't Ukraine. Attacking a shopping center is stooping to Russia's level.
Now if it's a Russian activist that hates Putin...fine, that's domestic terrorism and Putin inspired it.

It's amazing how Russia seems to be surrounded by countries full of Nazis.
At some point (now?), the 'N' word is going to start losing its power.
I have been operating under the assumption that anybody that disapproves of our support of Ukraine is either a Russian sympathizer or victim of Russia's online propaganda and disinformation campaign
Estonia, for such a small country, has really been doing their part for Ukraine this entire time. I absolutely love seeing it 🙌
Hope it's true....only way this ends quickly.![]()
Russian soldiers discuss mass exodus from frontline in Ukraine
Russians are moving to discuss a mass desertion of Vladimir Putin's military force, according to an intercepted call from the frontline, as the Kremlin leader struggles to maintain a grip on his own troops.www.express.co.uk
One can hope but even if there is just some desertion, that decreases, or at least complicates, their ability to project force when they are trying to shore things up.![]()

I agree wholeheartedlyI'd like to see Taiwan armed to the teeth before
And you would be correct in doing so.I have been operating under the assumption that anybody that disapproves of our support of Ukraine is either a Russian sympathizer or victim of Russia's online propaganda and disinformation campaign
That is way more than 15K Square feet....Imagine this is arson though I did see video of the front of the mall being worked on overnight. The great thing is that this is a reminder to Russia's capital that they are not immune to the effects of a war whether on purpose or accidentally. The tire factory fire makes me wonder if there was coordination.
Now up to 194,000 square feet. Do Russians know about fire wallsThat is way more than 15K Square feet....
And you would be correct in doing so.
However, characterizing prudence as lack of support
I have always felt this is how it would end.![]()

There you go-they put SQ but you cant see meters on caption unless you open. Now up to 194,000 square feet. Do Russians know about fire walls
"The blaze, which spread over an area of about 18,000 square meters (194,000 square feet), broke out at about 6 a.m. local time in the Mega Khimki shopping and entertainment mall in a Moscow suburb. The structure has been almost completely destroyed."

WrongNot seeing the forest for the trees here.
The folks calling for "prudence" have never, ever been concerned about fiscal responsibility for things they support. And it implies the left "doesn't care" where the funds are going.
What specific evidence does the McCarthy Gang have on inappropriate spending for Ukraine? What SOLUTIONS are they proposing, vs just complaining?
Advocating for proper accounting and dissemination is not disapproving of support.

It is uncanny how girls always know who is the hottest and let her take the middle position in a photo.
Yep....MIC going to continue to make out but Taiwan needs to be armed up.I agree wholeheartedly
