You think they invoke article 5? You might be right…hope we don’t find out. What happens if the radioactive dust settles on Poland, Romania, the Baltics...
This might explain the less than robust response by Putin. He might be trying to figure out who is still on his side, and might be afraid of how tenuous his position is.
Not good!FWIW
This guy @RealJakeBroe has a different take on the situation. I was watching his youtube channel and he thinks that the FSB has had enough of Putin and it was the FSB who guaranteed safety for Prigozhin The FSB will then for the next election (March) allow him to run to replace Putin. This way there is a peaceful transition.
I have no idea how tuned in this guy is but since we are all speculating thought I would throw this out there.
NATO has already said nuclear fallout on member states would trigger article 5, and any use of nuclear weapons would trigger a military response. You think they invoke article 5? You might be right…hope we don’t find out.
Well this is terrifying.
Like I said…hope we don’t find out.NATO has already said nuclear fallout on member states would trigger article 5, and any use of nuclear weapons would trigger a military response.
Hopefully this is the case…
He’d have to move them to use them as leverage over Putin.Movement isn’t really the issue with possession when you can hit a target halfway around the world
If Putin uses a tactical nuke in Ukraine…NATO is obligated to take him out?
I don’t think that’s in the treaty 😄
You’re probably right but when we’re talking nukes….I don’t think “probably” is very reassuring.Right. But it would be the right thing to do. I do not believe that the military infrastructure in Russia would go all out.
@Recep ErdoganThis is extremely concerning not knowing who’s really running the show day-to-day with the Russian military right now.

Ya have to wonder how many truly operational, “modern” tanks the orcs have left.
