I agree with this but it doesn't seem to matter, at this point. Putin patiently waited until there was a new president, and now he is being rewarded.

In a press conference today the guy answering a question about this said it was because the US was running out of equipment that can come from draw downs. While that is probably true, once again we remember that the US has 8,600 Abrams tanks and sent 31. And no aircraft have been given from US stocks.
