This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

I think Ukraine can, and will continue to push Russian troops out of the country. The problem I see with them "winning" is that Russia doesn't need troops to fire missiles at Ukrainian cities and continue to simply kill as many Ukranians as they desire. What, aside from military intervention in Russia or continued sanctions stops that approach?
A dead Putin.

The comments from the people who attended the rally support my previous post. Yes, Russian can force a lot of people to attend a rally and waive Russian flags. But, for how long? People there literally said they did not support the war, and they'd been coerced into attending the rally.
Oh I don’t believe those at the rally were coerced. There is still a fierce nationalistic base that loves Putin, driven by decades of propaganda.

It’s why this war needs to end sooner than later with the death of Putin and his replacement to be honest with the Russian people and the world. Putin instigated a war of death and crimes against the innocent people of Ukraine. If he has time to clamp down and isolate his people while somehow surviving the sanctions, then we have a problem.

You understand the difference in being jailed for your heritage and being jailed for siding with the enemy?
Really. Anyone “siding” or bringing up points with a country not aligned with the US needs to be in jail.
Reminds me of somewhere…

I understand what you are saying, Dog. But don't you think it is a little strange to support Russia right now? Everyone has an opinion but not all opinions are correct.

Some of this” support” is batshit crazy, some is worthy of thought.
If mexico was aligned with russia i’m not sure i’d want some stuff going on there. Cuba missile crisis ring a bell?
This is still about oil/gas and putin rebuilding the Ussr.
We had a poster say anyone with those points should be jailed. As usual they are off the rails.

That's a game of hypotheticals though. Mexico isn't aligned with Russia and the Cuban missile crisis is history. If you honestly believe that there should be any support or concern for Russia right now we are going to really disagree.

This is literal Russian propaganda targeted at the Arabic world.

Define support. The poster seems to think questioning anything is worthy of jail.

Really.
I could argue the us (bho and slow joe) making Ukraine remove their nukes was a cause.
They gave them up well before that.
Ukraine won a political victory by the implicit recognition that it was the owner of the nuclear weapons on its soil. In 1996, within two years of the signing of the Budapest Memorandum, Ukraine handed over all the nuclear weapons on its soil to Russia.
