This might be a little tougher than Putin thought...

I think Ukraine can, and will continue to push Russian troops out of the country. The problem I see with them "winning" is that Russia doesn't need troops to fire missiles at Ukrainian cities and continue to simply kill as many Ukranians as they desire. What, aside from military intervention in Russia or continued sanctions stops that approach?

So Russia has chosen a war of attrition. Who can sustain more death and destruction? Russia is going to continue to suffer massive casualties if they choose this route. How many mother's are going to continue to be ok with this?

Push them back all the way to Moscow?

Ukraine then begins to have to deal with the same issues the Russians have. It's one thing to fight a defensive war from within your own country. It's completely another to take the attack to your enemy and start an offensive war against them. Ukraine doesn't have the military to go into Russia alone.

Oh I know, I was being facetious. Mostly.

Can NATO give Ukraine missiles that they can launch into Russia? Seems it might take something like that.
At the limit of their range and maybe Russia's anti missile defense too strong, but it looks like Ukraine has missiles with the range to barely reach Moscow if launched from border.

"A mockup of the the missile was revealed in 2016. The Grom is expected to have a firing range of up to 500 km. These missiles can strike important enemy targets, such as missile sites, concentration of troops and equipment, as well as command posts. In some cases this ballistic missile can be used as an alternative to precision bombing. Grom's 500 km range is sufficient to strike a number of important targets in Russia."

I do not believe that is a tenable position to hold. The numbers are against the state police if popular mood shifts. Putin does not care, that is a fact. What do the unemployed, hungry people think? The younger generation won't accept this for long, and even the older, less savvy members of the population will not blindly accept losses for long.
