Positive but sobering thread.
Counter argument: War kills peopleWhat about saving humans?
What weapons has NATO donated? Where are they stored? Who services them? Who buys them? Seems like some NATO countries are providing support, while other NATO countries don’t (or minimal amounts), and some NATO countries are actively trying to convince Ukraine to concede land and give up the fight.NATO weapons are the ONLY reason Ukraine is still able to fight. W/o them, this war was over in March/April.
Russia, at this particular point in time, is killing innocent people and destroying most concern’s of humanity within Ukraine, at a very large and alarming scale.Counter argument: War kills people

Lol, thats one of your worst redirects yet. At least you’re consistent. You still asleep Rip Van Winkle?
NATO countries have donated MILLIONS in equipment. You can look that up if you like.
Truth be told, NATO is going way overboard for a NON member and I really praise them for doing so.What weapons has NATO donated? Where are they stored? Who services them? Who buys them? Don’t quote me on those, I’m just going by the tweets of what another poster shared. He’s done a fine job showing how pathetic some of our main NATO members are on this conflict. Really puts the organization in a great light.
Actually, billions, correct? You still asleep Rip Van Winkle?

Not to mention that we are helping Ukraine transition their army to western artillery and MLRS systems AS THEY FIGHT A WAR.This is a war of attrition. Gonna have to play it out.
I just hope that Ukraine can hold on. Please. Not to mention that we are helping Ukraine transition their army to western artillery and MLRS systems AS THEY FIGHT A WAR.
Think about how hard it's been for Russia to do what they've done so far. The costs have been tremendous for them. Then think about the fact that every day Ukraine gets closer to putting those western weapons into the fight in ever greater numbers.
Once Ukraine puts more self-propelled artillery and precision MLRS / HIMARS into the fight, Russia will be reeling. Hang on!
Sure they can hold on. Russia isn't going to take over the country. They can barely crawl in the Donbas.I just hope that Ukraine can hold on. Please.

HIMARS can will be able hit the Russians anyway, then the Ukrainians can repair bridges and advance (in time). All these bridges getting blown up are going to make it difficult for the Russians to advance (good) and difficult for the Ukrainians in any prospective counteroffensive.
The strategic city of Severodonetsk is increasingly isolated as heavy fighting has destroyed all three bridges linking it to Lysychansk to the west, while Portugal's Prime Minister António Costa has sounded a cautionary note over Ukraine's possible accession to the European Union.
Here are the latest headlines on the war in Ukraine:
Battle for Severodonetsk continues: Intense fighting continues inside Severodonetsk, one of the last holdouts for Ukraine in the Luhansk region, and more widely, the entirety of the country’s eastern Donbas, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense spokesperson Oleksandr Motuzianyk said in a briefing Monday.
Evacuation routes limited after bridges destroyed: All three bridges connecting Severodonetsk with its twin city Lysychansk to the west are now impassable for vehicles, severely limiting evacuation options for those trying to flee the city and supply routes in, according to Serhiy Hayday, head of the Luhansk regional military administration. However Oleksandr Struik, head of the Severodonetsk military administration, said evacuations were taking place “every minute when there is quiet there, or there is a possibility of transportation.”
Zelensky repeats call for more artillery: The battle for the Donbas region in eastern Ukraine “will surely go down in military history as one of the most brutal battles in Europe and for Europe,” Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his nightly address on Monday, repeating his call for more heavy weapons deliveries from allied countries.
Ukraine investigating mass grave near Bucha: The Ukrainian Prosecutor General says that it is investigating the deaths of seven civilians found with their hands tied behind their backs near the Kyiv suburb of Bucha. During an investigation of formerly Russian-held positions in the forest near the village of Myrotske, authorities said, “the bodies of seven civilians with gunshot wounds and hands tied behind their backs were found in the trenches.”
Warning over Ukraine's EU accession: Portugal’s Prime Minister António Costa says that the debate over whether to grant Ukraine candidacy status in the European Union could divide the bloc and create “false expectations.” Division in the EU would be a gift to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Costa reportedly told the Financial Times.

If the Russians are blowing up the bridges it might say something about their plans. Also, the Pope understands the situation pretty well, imo.All these bridges getting blown up are going to make it difficult for the Russians to advance (good) and difficult for the Ukrainians in any prospective counteroffensive.
