"The 109th Regiment of the puppet Donbass withdrew from its positions in the Kherson area, the Russian paratroopers supporting them fled the battlefield"

Lot of chatter they have finally launched the counter offensive in Kherson and it is going very well so far. Fingers crossed but they might be grabbing a big chunk back from Russia today and putting wedge in the East Front.

"A counterattack really seems to be in full swing now. One location has already been reclaimed. Everything else a bit later, when it's really quite clear."

Hoping for everyone’s sake it is more of a Russian troops fleeing deserting surrendering situation that initial reports are making it out to be. In some way Russians fleeing and evacuating is more embarrassing and it means less loss of life all around.

Boebert and all the other GQP morons are like wind up dolls. Pull the string in their back and they start saying, “Woke. CRT. Trans”…
The sad part about it is, that all the woke , CRT and such is pushed by Russian propagandist and then spread by certain republicans. And then Americans that are dumb asses start spreading same junk. If politicians of her ilk had their choice they would be on Putin’s side of this war.

Have been thinking about the river being a “wall” to the Russian retreat if bridges and pontoon bridges disabled by Ukraine.

If the offensive is successful, is the possibility of thousands of Russian soldiers surrendering a possibility? And if so, what do you do with them?

Nordic neighbours attack Norway’s ‘selfish’ plan to curb electricity exports

The criticism underlines how Europe’s energy crisis has raised tensions among traditional allies, as power prices surge following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February. As western Europe’s largest petroleum producer, Norway will make record sums from the sale of oil, gas and electricity this year. But amid growing worries about how Europe will cope this winter both with high prices and the availability of energy, Norway’s proposal to curb electricity exports to boost its own security of supply has sparked anger. “There is a danger in any national measure in any situation like this — they are contagious. People might say if Norway can do it, so can we. Therefore I think it’s the wrong approach,” said Johannes Bruun, director for the electricity market at Energinet, Denmark’s grid operator. Denmark was not planning any retaliatory measures, he added.
