We shall see. The first Gallup poll of his presidency had Trump at 47% approval and 48% disapproval. Since Gallup has been doing presidential approval polls, the only president with a lower first week approval percentage was…Donald J Trump.

I’m in the all others!That CBS poll that you linked was conducted from Oct 8 to 11 and found, at that time, that Harris was ahead of Trump 51% to 48% among registered voters. That poll had a margin of error of about plus or minus 2.3 percentage points.
The election was not for another 25 days (Tues, Nov 5), of course.

And what about the margin of error? This additional CBS poll that you found was still 11 days before the election (likely voters were polled between Oct 23 and 25). And this poll found Harris leading nationally 50%-49% BUT with a 2.6% +/- margin of error.

Most Americans today feel the new administration isn't focusing enough on lowering prices of goods and services. Lowering prices is the one item tested that a solid majority of the country agree Mr. Trump's team should be focusing on more. That includes almost half of Republicans, even as they say he's focusing the right amount on a wide range of other items.

That poll might as well ask people if they are ready to give up on the United States as a country.
To be fair, he wasn't actually very believable when he did that and as disturbing as it is, there are this many people that just want to see the United States end as an entity that exists. They certainly want to get rid of the Constitution.
My side? I don't have one. Before Nov 5th, I had face to face conversations with Trump supporters, including miliary vets, asking why they would vote for Trump. I even asked one vet how he could support Trump after what Trump said about John McCain. I have said many times Trump WAS and IS unfit for office.
At the same time, I could see how the Democrats might struggle on Nov 5th after they lied, where they said Biden was fit for office when that obviously was not true, and then forcing Harris as the choice.
I think all of the federal money that was poured into the economy (stimulus payments, payroll protection, etc) helped inflation take off
