This Team (and 2015) Are Most Likeable Good Fran Teams

1) Exceeding expectations.
2) So unselfish
3) Aren’t letting injuries and other teams’ runs get to them.
4) I like having athleticism at PG!!

This team may regress—especially when they hit that extra tough stretch of ~7 games in a month or so, but I like how they’re hanging tough. If this team merely makes the dance, this season is a success....Today woulda been a good one to steal on the road from a top 20 NET team, but the loss doesn’t anger me like so many last year and some other years.

Somebody had to lose that game today. Overall, I don't know what else the Hawkeyes could have done. Hit a few more FTs. Sure. Make a couple fewer TOs. OK. Hit another shot or two down the stretch. Absolutely. But then you're talking about playing a nearly perfect game.

I agree that this Hawkeye team is a lot of fun to watch because they are playing much better defense, they're battling on the boards, and they're just plain tough-minded.

I feel bad that the effort and skill Iowa showed today didn't pay off with a win, but every way but on the scoreboard, this was an excellent basketball game against a very talented team on the road.

Well done, Hawkeyes. Keep after it and clobber that team out west.
