Thomsen vs Teske??

Thanks. The schedule on Track says it starts at 9am. I assumed that was wrestling, but must be weigh ins.
They both won their semis and we will see them in the final!
When will the finals be? Tomorrow?
(That is, are they going to go right into the finals tonight?)
Teske has a great bounce in his step, very fluid.....Thomsen with a huge knee brace on his right leg.

Wow....Teske got stronger and faster as the match went on. Scores a TD by whipping around out of a single leg by Thomsen. Muscled his way into a win with 10 seconds to go. Teske wins 11-9.

Typical Teske, and I think the reason why so many Iowa fans like him. Kid has a motor. This is not the first big match he’s won by being relentless and making a comeback.
Here's to many more battles between these two in the semis at NCAAs & many losses to The General Lee.
Props to both for not ducking the other
I'm happy for Teske and hope he completes his run as an unbeaten 4 timer.........and then I hope he goes over to Happy Valley and never beats the Hawks.

I've seen the FD kids train in the off-season and they definitely put in the work to try to be the most conditioned guys on the mat. The results over the last few years certainly have shown that.
Anyway you slice it, that's a hell of a win, and a comeback win to boot. Kudo's to both, and especially to Teske, who didn't mail it in when the chips were down. Well done.

Wish I had seen the match. Sounds like a good one...if they wrestled ten times they probably split. Not the first time Teske has come back I think Teske has a tough road with Iowa if today was any indication.
That was a hell of a match. Fun to watch, action packed, both kids had gas tanks that didn't stop. Really impressive. Congrats to both.
Nelson Brands had 3 pins and a TF 20-5 in the finals at this tournament. Any video from IA Wrestle?

Not true. Roll sysrts with 2 seconds left. One stroke with him in criteria and one stroke with Moomey on his elbow(not criteria) with time out.
Um no, roll started at 3 he is pinned with college rules at 2. Easy 2 count.
Rewatched and it was much closer than I remembered from yesterday. Danger seemed to start between 2-3 seconds and comes out between 0-1. Close call either way.

A. You can’t recieve nearfall when he’s an elbow. Which is where he was.
B. Roll started at 2. If I could figure out how to post a picture in here I’d show you.
I’m not arguing with you. I just wish the official would have let them finish it in ot instead phantom back points.
And here I thought Scwab was shooting for top 10 at some point, guess not
