I'm asking what kinds of things do teachers do to groom children to be cats? Do they do activities having students pretend to be cats? Do they read cat books? Hand out cat nip? Give cat toys or treats for rewards? If it’s not happening like you say, why are so many against religion in schools. Is that because it’s grooming a child? Only they are against this type of grooming?
Same with transgendered students, how does a teacher convince someone they are a different gender? What is the process? What did your sister in law's coworker do to groom students? I want to hear the specific techniques.

Maybe we should start by looking at school shooter statistics. The majority are straight males not transgenders or cat people. Eliminating talking about transgenders, cats, or even religion is not going to make a dent in school shootings.

Well my sister in law mentioned that an elementary teacher that she works with was snap chat friends with elementary kids which already should be a no no in any normal adults opinion.
But from there she would send them inappropriate snaps in a sexual context.
So if this female teacher who likes other females is sending this type of stuff to students. Do you think it stops there or do you think she talked openly about being gay, possibly transgender and or any other liberal issues with her students and other students in the school. Remember this person is supposed to be a role model to students and someone they look up to.
Once again I know people on here don’t believe me but again, what do I have to gain by making up stuff? I don’t live in a fake world and share stuff that I experience and am told by people I know I can trust and believe.

It's probably not a good idea for any adult to be snap chat friends with a minor. I find it hard to believe that a story involving a teacher sending inappropriate sexual snaps to elementary students wouldn't end up with a jail sentence. No way parents would let that kind of thing be swept under the rug by a school district.
Where does your sister in law teach? We have posters from all over Iowa and other states maybe one of them know more details about this teacher.
Well the teacher was put on paid leave but resigned before it went any further so she didn’t lose her teaching certificate and any potential legal issues. Sadly, like I mentioned earlier, schools don’t want bad publicity so they just left it as is. Now this person is free to go do the same thing at a different school.
I’ll just say the school is within 30 minutes of Iowa city.

Why didn't parents call law enforcement? There at least have to be FB posts or something online about this incident. Almost nothing happens in school that doesn't get out to the public.
I don’t know dude, it’s not exactly my job to report something like that to law enforcement. . My kids don’t go there, I don’t live in the community. I’m just telling you what a teacher that works there told me. I have no reason to suspect that a sister in law of mine has any reason to make this up, especially when she couldn’t care less about politics.
To me it sounds like children being groomed. You wanted to me to tell you of a situation.
I did exactly that.
Putting a teacher on paid leave involves an investigation process whether the teacher resigns or not. I'm sure the school would have at least sent a notice to parents that the teacher would not be returning to the classroom. That would have been picked up by local news sources.
Without more details I won't agree that she/he was grooming children. It's possible they were a child predator grooming the student for a sexual relationship. That would be their motivation.

What does a teacher get out of anything they teach? I would guess some sort of satisfaction? Like I mentioned, the teacher wasn’t straight. I have no idea how much farther it went than that, but we know that group loves pride parades. What do they get out of those parades? Do you think a teacher could get that same sort of feeling? Why do some schools allow cross dressers to read books to kids, what does the teacher get out of that?

I don't think that is happening in schools, but the point is being inclusive. It's for the students. Some of those students have family members that are LGBTQ.

What is your job? What do you get out of it? Why do we have Christmas, New Year's, St. Patrick's Day, or Homecoming parades? What do the spectators get out of them?

LOL! I went to a public school where 90% of the students were catholic. You don’t think religion was talked about. Again LOL. I would also bet you a million dollars politics are being talked about as well. I know for a fact they are talked about at the university of Iowa in non political classes.

Sounds like you are upset that LGBTQ exists. Do you think a teacher that is openly gay is automatically grooming students just by not hiding who they are? I don't think drag storytime is happening at schools, but if it is parents should be able to opt that their child may not participate. However, that shouldn't stop others from choosing to let their child attend. Again I don't think it happens at school.
Do you personally know any LGBTQ people? I think you need a little more exposure so you won't find them so threatening.
I have been to the last couple prides in the QC. Effing terrifying. One of them struck up a conversation with me for conversation sake so I told them that I'm okay with them unless they try to do the LGBTQIA+ on me.
