Neither you nor @gohawks50 can provide one. The closest he got was when I asked if a student ever pretends to be something they are not, so they can fit in.
That’s not even close to me thinkings someone will become gay by hanging out with a gay person.
Social camouflage is the term you are looking for.

Your own words suggested some people are afraid they will become religious if they hang around religious people. You were asked for some specifics on that and if that also applies to to other situations, like being gay.
