You kinda have to admire his stamina in these interactions. No matter how many times he gets tagged he bounces right back. Same for his ability to tune out any outside influences that might detract from his position. He's really good at keeping his focus on just one guy and one idea. Kinda reminds me of a Hawk that's chasing down a bird. That bird can fly through a flock of other birds and do you think that Hawk gets distracted by those other birds? Nope. He chases that thing down till he gets it or it drops from exhaustion. Impressive! Fran is a true Hawk!

it is fascinating to me that plus/minus for one game is used and published all the time by media outlets and by Iowa basketball; its a meaningful stat to all of them. Nevertheless, the RocknRollClown says it's a meaningless stat. He's wrong, of course, and he can't, for some reason, grasp that fact.

At least he's consistent; it doesn't matter what the topic is, he always shows us how misinformed he is.

The data is clear on the fact that people are not dying in any meaningful way from Omicron.

Hospitals are not being overwhelmed.

I called Omicron a glorified cold because the systmptoms for the majority are very similar to a cold.

So odd watching Iowa crumble against the zone, especially watching over and over Iowa's zone get dismantled. I know Filip was playing well on Sunday, but Fran made a mistake in his scheme against the zone. When the ball was getting stuck, Fran should've had Keegan float to the middle of the key instead of Filip. Get your best player the ball and have him play make! They sag off of him? Keegan is money from 12-15 feet. They come up to him? Have PMac sprint the baselines for a cut. Also would've been interesting seeing Kris and Sandfort in the corners - ready to fire. This team has the pieces to take the next step and I believe it would if Fran tasked Keegan to become more of a playmaker.
