So what did you guys think of Paul Burmeister doing last nights game? Pretty cool I thought. He's a pro. The former Hayden Fry QB has carved out quite a career in broadcasting. He's on a lot of the talking head shows, the voice of Notre Dame football, and been on several Olympic broadcast teams. Thought he did a great and yet unbiased job...

Paul is fantastic, IMO. Was a few years behind me at West. Good kid then and a consummate pro now. Very happy for him.
I’m sure it’s tempting for him to reminisce about his own experience as an Iowa QB on the air but it rarely comes up when he does an Iowa game. The casual viewer would have no idea that he grew up with a couple of miles of Kinnick and played QB for the Hawks, which is pretty high praise.
