Three people are dead in an apparent double murder-suicide in Cedar Rapids on Thursday

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Three people are dead in an apparent double murder-suicide in Cedar Rapids on Thursday.

Police were called to a port-a-potty near the Noelridge Pavilion at 12:24 p.m.

A man was found inside the restroom dead from self-inflicted fatal wounds.

Investigative leads then took officers to the 4400 block of Regal Avenue NE. Two adults were found dead in the home.

Police say it appears to be a double-homicide and suicide.

Identities of the deceased are not being released pending notification of family.

The investigation continues.

When the Cedar Valley Nature Trail would be getting repaved, I used to walk in Noelridge.

Have also spent my fair share of drunken nights at Mulligans, which is in that area.

Man who committed suicide (Lynn Martin) was the killer. Son of murdered mother (Rita), younger brother of murdered brother (Alan). Guessing the killer (Lynn) was someone from HORT and he got sick and tired of the revolving door that was OP's (Alan) mom (Rita). So, the question is, who is/was Alan's HORT username?
