Time Change for NIT Game

This stuff ticks me off though. It probably works better for the masses, but I bought tickets for a 6:30 game because I will done with a Sunday commitment, but 4:00 won't work. I wouldn't have purchased tickets if it was listed as 4:00 or even TBA, but 6:30 was going to be fine.

They really need to sort this out. It's totally BS for people who want to be there but who have other commitments beyond watching Hawkeye basketball. Fans should be ticked off. Either announce a time and stick to it, or as others have said, leave it TBA until it's final.

Similar situation here. I have other commitments and the 6:30 start would have worked fine for me, but can't make the 4:00. At least I hadn't bought tickets yet.
Maybe they'll get that game #3 in CHA and we can make that one.

Why do you say that? Looks like college lacrosse is scheduled to be on. Not saying you're wrong, just wondering how you're certain.

Game will be on ESPN 3 for sure.

Makes no sense why he would say that. The dude thinks they'd televise a 6:30 game but not a 4:00 one?

I would only assume that they'd secure a TV spot before switching times. At least you'd hope. Worst case scenario it's going to be on ESPN 3.

The Hawkeyes second-round home game against TCU now will start at 4 p.m. CT on Sunday and air on ESPN2. The game originally was slated for 6:30 p.m. on Sunday and was set to air on ESPNU.

Good, my DirecTV schedule still lists Oakland @ Richmond at 4PM. It's now 4:50PM, because of the time change, I'm thinking of making the trip to Carver and If the game is sold out will try to obtain one from a scalper.....last game I went to was the Omaha game so you can see why I'm a little apprehensive about going.....love to watch the games on TV and have transferred a number of games to DVD over the years.....

Yeah guys I get it the game is on TV. I'm not the one who said it wasn't on. Don't know why everyone is quoting me.

The new time is a bit better for us but announcing one time and then changing it is just BS. Totally unfair to those who bought tickets but can't go at the new time. Get with it, NIT!!!

Won't they refund like they did for last nights game.

For those who can't use your tickets with the time change, at least you should be able to dump your tickets easily. At most schools, you'd be stuck with them.

Wonder if the Oakland/Richmond fans bitch more than us for getting dump for a prettier person, lol.
