Davis:
said Daniels should be 100% next week and Duzey is getting close to 100% as well.
Christ White has been lobbying to get Wadley on the field the last couple weeks.

Parker
Miles Taylor is a violent hitter and also has a love for the game, always in the film room.
Mabin is getting better, more of a student of the game now
Looking at Hockaday to battle it out for WLB after Fischer is gone
They like Michael Slater a lot at DT and he is gettng reps there this week.
Says this year's team has a great chemistry that reminds him of 2002/2004

If that's true about White, then that just reinforces the notion that KF has no clue when it comes to offensive skill positions. Just like anyone could see the talent in CJ after about 5 minutes, the same is true with Wadley (and Mitchell).

If you don't trust your RB coach to evaluate RBs, then what's the point of having one? Micromanage much?

Talent can gain experience, but experience cannot gain talent.

Nobody, no matter how talented, is effective while sitting on the bench.

Every RB in the history of football has fumbled. Every QB has thrown interceptions.

Wadley should start, Mitchell should back him up, and Daniels should be ready to go if needed. Of course, that's based on talent and performance, not seniority.

Seems to me that Canzeri was playing pretty well. Are you going to argue with that? Furthermore, Canzeri has more than paid his dues ... I think that he had earned the reps he got.

Earlier in the season, Mitchell was perceived as the #3 RB. In the game against Northwestern, Wadley was the first RB off the bench. It seems to me that Ferentz and Davis listen to the position coaches.

Let's not make something out of nothing.

No clue? I think Wadley not seeing the field had nothing to do with his ability to play RB, or KF's ability to assess talent. Wadley not seeing the field had EVERYTHING to do with his inability to hold onto the football. I am by no means a KF apologist but you KF haters need to get a grip.

These thoughts might actually trump your post about the staff not knowing how to run an offense and that read and react or get open routes were too complicated for college players and you wished we would just go back to the old school timing routes from many decades ago. Where do you come up with this stuff? Canzeri was playing well and we rode the hot hand, a 5th year senior playing the best football of his career that was also trustworthy as it related to ball security. Its really not that difficult to understand. Wadley had/has talent, we knew that when he had a 100 yard game LAST year, the problem was and always has been ball security. Hopefully Akrum has that figured out now.

Talent can gain experience but experience cannot gain talent...sounds like something you just made up on the fly and its laughable.

It is so sad that you cannot see just how embarrassing you really are.

I wish we had a dislike option. I want to see Wadley get more touches after last Saturday too, but you've already forgotten how well Canzeri has performed this year. Daniels was the guy coming in and hopefully still can be the guy. Kirk has proven that he's willing to play younger guys the past two years (mostly on D last year). We should be thrilled that we're getting this production out of Wadley and Mitchell and not pissed off at Kirk for entering a season with 4 successful options in the backfield and using them all. If you believe that Wadley's comments this week about our OL were sincere, then KUDOS to Kirk for installing Brian as a "run-game coordinator" on top of OL coach.

43 carries
signed,
put me in coach
Yeah, love what Canzeri has done, and I don't typically get too carried away with number of carries, no matter how big the number, but it probably wouldn't have hurt to put Wadley or Mitchell in for a snap or two. But, it was a close game and we all know even the New Kirk is paranoid so............................ I do want Canzeri to carry the torch when healthy, he has indeed earned that right and his play has been impressive, but Wadley possesses the big play ability from the running back position more than anyone we have, without question. So he needs to see the field, every week.

Running backs fumble. It's going to happen. Quarterbacks throw picks. It's going to happen. The playmaker's need to be on the field. Period.
