Who has been doing that? Are you saying that blowing a 20 point lead in the second half against Iowa State is not something that results in a conversation?

There are a number of posters who disappear after huge Iowa wins...go look at the Marquette vs Iowa threads. Yet can't get to HR free board fast enough after a horrible loss like ISU.

If being critical of Iowa's play or in game coaching decisions is your thing - great. But it really doesn't hold much value when these same people click on MUTE when it doesn't fit.

When we win a couple games they will disappear again. If we upset Michigan State we might not see them for a couple weeks! And frankly I'd like to encourage the lemon suckers TO disappear.

To be fair to those you are pointing fingers at do you really think wins over Drake and Tennesse Tech are the same as MSU?

of course not ...where did I mention Drake or Tenn Tech? I'm pointing out that some posters are no where to be found after really huge Iowa wins (ie Marquette & Fla State) ... but are very vocal after a loss (ISU). That's not fair its a fact.

Yeah, it would be nice to finally get the Sparty monkey off our back, but can you imagine how toxic this board will be if we go 1-3 to start the conference? And it is possible with home and away games with #1 MSU and an away game at #8 Purdue

It is not just a conversation that you are trying to start and you know it. You first state that it is risky to put too much emphasis on a single game but in defending your self you graciously support giving Fran another year to turn it around. How damn magnanimous of you! It appears from your statements that you are mad because the game got some national media. Well, sport, the game is not about you and it never was and it never will be. You may want to support the team through it's ups and downs for a change instead of being the first in line to trash the coach. Again, I have to question your undying devotion for Davis to the point that you hated Alford in an unhealthy manner for a grown up man for replacing him, defended Lick because he replaced Alford and now you are starting stuff regarding Fran. Point is that you have not been happy since your lazy boy friend was fired.
