Tough loss but if isu is a top 10 team then Iowa will have a very good year.

Unfortunately I don't think they are - maybe a top 5 team in the Big 10 but I sure hope the ratings are close. They are the 3rd or 4th best team the Hawks have played this year and it gets a lot tougher with the Big 10 coming up. May not make the tourney with the meat grinder Big 10 - too bad we aren't in the big 12

Yep if isu is really a top 5 team then the Hawks are going to the elite 8.

I think Iowa State has top 5 talent and time will tell how well they do this season. Looking forward, I think both programs are at a crossroad. No way of knowing for sure, but I think Iowa is going to continue to get better in seasons to come. Iowa State loses the core of their team after this season and will clearly be in decline. How far that decline goes remains to be seen.

Good point - I'm not sure about top 5 talent though as I've seen several teams I'd consider better. As I said in my earlier post I sure hope the ratings are correct - we will see.
