Toussaint vs Rutgers

Did I miss something? Did he get hurt or was he playing hurt/ill?

I barely remember seeing Toussaint out there today.

Of course, I decided to take a shower early in the 2nd half so Iowa could make their comeback (because they wouldn't have, if I'd kept watching....... )

I was happy with the production we did get from the freshmen today, obviously including Murray. Ulis did some nice things as well, and actually looked like he belonged while he was in.

He got hurt mid to late second half. Poked in the eye. Never came back in.

Limited minutes in the first half. Not sure if that was due to being hurt against NW or just due to not giving great minutes. He looked okay, physically.

He played poorly early and was raked across the eye in the second half and was out for the remainder...

Joe T is a huge liability on offense and Fran finally went to Uhils. Hopefully we see more of this. Touissant provides a spark every now and then but mostly he’s a 2 minute breather guy.

Sorry, but I get the credit for the win as I fell asleep from about the 11:30 mark until 1:11.

I agree with this. It was about as clutch a nap as I've ever witnessed in a college basketball game.

He seemed a little gimpy from the start. He wasn’t his usual self physically imo.

He needs to get the mistakes out of his game to be more than a spot player. Right now he's been hurt and not getting many minutes. But Ulis was much more under control and didn't have any needless turnovers or drives to nowhere. It will be interesting to see how Fran handles this going forward, Ulis didn't hurt himself at all today.
