Plus, I am confident most people in my example have broken some law - we ALL break laws from time to time. So anytime you make this into a rule of law issue by arguing we should round up law breakers then you absolutely need to consider other law breakers. Otherwise you are just subjectively applying justice.
Net net we will have to disagree on this. I simply don't think illegally entering the country is a huge transgression and prefer more effective solutions focused on the reasons they chose that path in the first place. You want to deal with them as criminals, but not address other criminal elements of society (like our president) which I find hypocritical.
