Trump announces he is pardoning January 6th shitebags

Let the buyer’s remorse of the “swing voters” who voted for this dumbass begin:

png

He's antithetical to what you want as a leader.

Lies constantly, can't accept losing, has no appreciation for anything but himself -- obviously did not care what his constant lying about the 2020 election did to our country -- and then attacks anyone that dares question him or tries to him accountable.

Bill Barr knew what he was talking about when he said he shouldn't be anywhere near the whitehouse.

I've never seen anything near a coherent argument that validates his behavior or the behavior of many republicans around 1/6.

It's just flat out unAmerican behavior. It's tribal politics run amok. It's what you expect in some rinkydink 3rd world startup democracy.
So you hope he gets shot? Interesting.

You do realize when a force is outmanned 10 to 1 . The crowd becomes the weapon. Trump watched it all unfold for 3 hours and didn’t do anything to calm them down or order backup for the Capitol Police.
I will defend the United States of America against all enemies foreign or domestic. He violated his Oath that day as POTUS.
People celebrating him and his self serving act of cowardice that day are truly sad.
Why was that force outnumbered 10-1 when Trump offered 10,000 National Guard troops and Nancy refused them?

Why did Nancy deny National Guard troops offered by Trump, again?
You're a moron.

No, Nancy Pelosi did not deny a National Guard response on January 6, 2021. This claim has been widely debunked. Decisions about National Guard deployment in Washington, D.C., fall under the jurisdiction of the President and the Department of Defense, not the Speaker of the House.

Key Points:

  1. Authority Over National Guard Deployment:
    • In Washington, D.C., the National Guard operates under federal authority. The President, through the Department of Defense, is responsible for approving and deploying the National Guard in D.C.
    • The Speaker of the House has no role in authorizing National Guard deployments.
  2. Timeline of Events:
    • Leading up to January 6, concerns about potential unrest were raised.
    • The D.C. Mayor and Capitol Police reportedly requested National Guard assistance in advance, but the requests were limited to traffic and crowd control.
    • On January 6, as the riot escalated, leaders in Congress (including Pelosi) and then-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell urgently called for National Guard reinforcements.
  3. Defense Department Role:
    • Delays in deploying the National Guard were attributed to bureaucratic hurdles and hesitancy within the Department of Defense.
    • Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller and other Pentagon officials faced scrutiny for their delayed response.
  4. Debunked Claims:
    • The claim that Pelosi denied National Guard assistance has been propagated by some political figures and media outlets but lacks factual support.
    • Investigations, including those by the January 6 Committee, found no evidence that Pelosi blocked or interfered with National Guard deployment.

clearly there are people that do not understand the law, particularly as it applies to Federal buildings.

I’ll simplify for some.

It is illegal to enter a federal building without going through security.

It is illegal to bear arms inside a federal building.

It is illegal to deface Federal buildings and Federal property.

Read the rules about defacing the American flag

That’s just the stuff re a Federal Building. I think that some may have enough brain power to understand that attacking a federal employee is a crime.

There are many crimes involved.

This was an insurrection, whether people like it or not. It’s against the law, despite one’s political party.

Suck it up and admit it for what it was, regardless of your political affiliation.

The actions of the mob were against the law. Period.
But it's ok for Antifa to firebomb a federal courthouse in Portland for 3 months straight....

I have a big problem when people with great power shirk the responsibility attached to said power in favor of personal interest.
I do also. It happens on both sides, and just happened. Trump is just in your face about it. Really the only difference. Unless you disagree with Jack Smith’s first report and his decision to not charge certain charges. And that’s Jack Smith, who has a documented history of over charging and prosecutorial misconduct.

Should be easy for you to provide this documented evidence. Or are you just full of shit?

We know the answer.

Ok, sure. But scale. You have problem and size of problem. I haven't seen anything at the scale of Jan 6 and election denial. That occurred within context of an essential democratic process our country performs.

There is nothing sacred to Trump but Trump.

It's less clear how exactly this connects back to criminal law -- but it doesn't matter. There should have been a near uniform rejection of the man following 1/6 by both sides of the isle. They had the chance to remove him from the political process. That this didn't happen is a giant red flag that something is seriously amiss.

Do you? The fact that you don’t know when SCOTUS overturned him they essentially accused him of misusing federal code and came close to calling it prosecutorial misconduct is not surprising to me. One example of many mistrials, etc. It’s really common knowledge. I’m surprised this is the hill you choose to die on.

Some of the Republican appointed judges were pretty bad. You’re correct. Doesn’t matter what party the judges are. Or it shouldn’t. Selective, abusive prosecution and over charging needs to end.
Trump let people who assaulted cops out of prison.
Judges and prosecutors are meaningless at this point. Your guy let cop beaters out of prison.

So what? Your guy preemptively pardoned people based on a fantasy that federal prosecutors and the judiciary would have some sort of conspiracy. I guess that’s reasonable since Biden just did exactly that.

The median prison sentence of J 6th guilty verdicts was 60 days. This is good prosecutorial discretion?

You don’t bring facts, you bring talking points. It’s not even a serious conversation. Never is with partisans.

?
Cop beaters. Every word you posted is drivel. He let people prosecuted for beating cops out of prison. That’s a sad fact.
This is on you.

You continue to prove that you are a moron.
