Not really an attempt at a flex (not sure how you drew that conclusion, yeah look at me I pay an insane amount of money in taxes, envy me! Huh? GTFOH!) I was simply pointing out that we as Americans are overtaxed by our bloated government. I am even more overtaxed in California.

My guess is they're trying to see what legal challenges come so they can have congress negate those challenges when they write the bill to eliminate it. They know the elimination by EO wouldn't stand up in court.

You realize most of what it does is identify schools that need federal funding to assist local taxpayers to make sure schools can function properly in poor districts.
Or to lunch programs for children who would otherwise be hungry.

If your property taxes help pay for your local school districts , your taxes will most certainly go up. I’m guessing districts will tax at the highest rate possible, the expense will be pushed on to your community. Just a heads up.

If statute requires a DoE fine but it can be burned down and built backup if need be.

If the entire government opposed you and your policies they do everything in their power to cause you to fail. This includes shutting down programs specifically excluded from an EO. What is being called ‘malignant compliance’.
Programs to be placed on hold? Ok lets shut down Medicaid….DEI programs canceled? Ok. Lets shut down the history of the Tuskegee Airmen being taught.
Fire the lot of them. Comply, support, serve and then get to keep your job.
Why something that would be required of an employee on the private sector isnt required in the public one is beyond me.

Every one of the cons that are in power make cuts to education and you ask why it's failing:
1. Vouchers to private schools
2. Defunding "liberal" universities
3. Cutting general education budgets.
