Trump has done stuff like this many times, but he's also a raging incompetent, who hires people solely based on the quality and quantity of their toadying, not because they are good. Trump Org was not well run once Fred Sr lost it. His administration was largely incompetent. Why would his campaign be competently run?

Oh, there are a few posters here who will sign up for the deportation squads. The reality is if it were attempted you'd need to mobilize the national guard, and use the regular military, which would probably put a damper on recruiting.
