Trump Fires Vindman - Escorted Out of the White House

There's the presidential mushroom slurping that is expected! If you can't do that, expect the consequences. Honor and oaths be damned.

You haven't addressed that he is not an elected official and did a crappy job in Ukraine.

A combat veteran, who was wounded in Iraq, and Trump had him perp walked out the door.
I know the stupid f**** will jump into this thread, one already has, but I'm fascinated to see the rationalizations and justifications from LC and the supposedly rational thinking Republicans of HROT.
Didn’t know they had tenure. If he’s that solid should find a gig in private sector like the rest of us.

lol, yeah he should have had Giuliani arrested. That would have solved a lot of the Ukraine problems. Of course, his job wasn't to police the Ukraine, it was primarily foreign military sales and arms control.

Ah, another chimes in to pay his allegiance.

"We're big supporters of the military. Well, we like to dress up and play pretend. Live their code of honor, screw that shit. Let them hang out to dry if Trump throws a tantrum, that's what they signed up for!"
I simply answered the question. Sorry the answer hurts your feelings

This is not unexpected and it’s not an outrage

you can’t be a junior nsc employee, eavesdrop on the POTUS and leak classified information.

faux outrage by handwringing liberals

I am not shocked in the slightest that you don't understand that testifying truthfully is not grounds for dismissal. I am not shocked that you don't understand this is not how any normal personnel exchange would occur on the NSC, or the Pentagon.
So people don't normally get removed from cabinet or nsc positions for various disagreements or conflicts with current administrations? Huh, who knew.

Ah so you don't know anything about vindman. Not surprising. This move is good for those that don't want politics involved with national security.

Vindy and Eric c. can go do more political operating for schiffer now.

Since this was a political move can we remove Trump so he isn't involved in national security?

What specific policy decisions did Vindman disagree with that forced his removal? And, no, this is not normal. Having a healthy NSC means differing opinions. That is how effective organizations work. You must work at a cult, Lord knows you support one politically.

You still haven't addressed it.

Unfreacking real.
Trump inserted his own personal politics into ours and Ukraine's national security by threatening them.

You are such a liar. YOU want politics involved with national security as long as it lowers your taxes and puts conservative judges in place.

Such a hypocrite.

You apparently don't know what his job was. I can't seem to help you with that.

He was a "supposed" expert. His superiors were on call as well and didn't see a problem so dems didnt call them. He is not elected and can be replaced, which he should have been. End of story

Some of the Trumpophobes on this board believe that Burt Lancaster was the hero of “Seven Days in May”

So because he reported something he felt was wrong and told the truth he should be replaced? I hope you don't wonder why the whistle blowers identify wasn't released and why there is a reason for their identify remaining hidden after your comments.

No surprise but wonder if he has recourse under whistle blower laws.

From earlier today -

"President Trump retweeted a statement from Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) calling for the firing of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman on Friday as part of a larger tweetstorm against the National Security Council's top Ukraine expert."

None. He’s not a whistleblower. He serves at the pleasure of the POTUS.
