Trump is really, really starting to sweat about the documents. He's changed the narrative from he never took anything, to if he did it's no problem, to he had every right to take documents. Team Trump has taken some body blows the last week on this investigation in court. A lot of people are going to be forced to testify, and Trump is starting to realize some of them aren't going to go to prison for him.
If Rs had gotten Hillary locked up I would have been fine with it. I’m not going to defend lawbreakers. Republican voters? A different story. They’re fine with their leadership being crooks. 50 years of evidence.
