Trump lowering taxes for incomes over $360k and raising for everyone else?

I assume you are referring to those individuals who earn less than $13,850/year, or are you referring to the large multinational corporations that pay no income taxes?

If it's the former, your taxes will go up as well. I guess that would make you happy?
Another unsupported drive by post. BTW, corporations don’t really pay taxes. They pass them on to their customers like they do any other expense. Otherwise they’d cease being a going concern.

So by that misguided logic, corporations actually don't pay for anything. Because all of their costs... taxes, salaries, supplies, facilities... are passed on. Do you think that means they don't pay them? Of course they pay them, and then they charge the customer to pay their expenses and keep the difference. But to say they don't really pay them shows you really don't understand.

And they don’t pass along tax cuts? Why? If tax rates were directly reflected in prices why didn’t prices go down after the Trump corporate tax cuts?

I’ll help you out. Prices are made to maximize profits. Companies price things and and manage expenses in order to maximize profits. They charge the amount that maximizes profit. Not a penny less. Not a penny more. If the price of a tube of toothpaste could be a dollar more and make more profit it already would be raised.

Yes. That is correct. They don’t actually bear the cost. Otherwise they would cease to exist. Basic business physics.

Yes. And an element of maximizing profits includes passing expenses on to the customer, coupled with attaining an equilibrium with what customers are able/willing to pay. Again, basic business physics.

Let them pass them on then… just like any other business does. Let’s get that money circulating instead of “tricklin’ down”!
If you would free Coca Cola of all taxes, do you think their $$ would drop appreciably? If you do, you are a fool.

I’m not defending Trump in any form - since I didn’t vote for him. However I do remain a conservative Republican
You are claiming that the Biden Administration “brought the US through global inflation without a recession”. Not me.
I just returned from grocery shopping for our holiday dinner where I paid $7.99 for a pound of store brand butter and $10.99 for two dozen eggs.
The only tall task involved in this situation is controlling my anger at the prices.
Some good news is that gas is now around $2.88 a gallon. I saved enough to pay for the butter. Merry Christmas!
Any chance you can post that receipt? If you shop at Publix and put in your number you can get that online if you tossed it. I shop at Publix and literally pay half of that for groceries. Just bough eggs and butter for some FABULOUS cookies we made yesterday.

If prices go up when corporate taxes increase why don’t prices go down when they decrease?

Unsupported drive by? I guess you would be happy paying taxes on your first $13,850 then.

Got it. Keep up the good work, Chief.

Of course they bear the cost, because they literally pay for all those things. Literally... write a check to pay all their expenses. And they pay for them out of the money they bring in for selling their service or product. And if they're lucky or good business people there's more money left over after they pay for all of their expenses. I'm surprised you don't understand that. It's Business 1.0. Thanks for telling me you've never run a business and you don't really know how they work. It's kind of laughable how you don't compute the obvious. But by your user handle you're from the deep south, so that explains a lot.

Do you mean the inflation caused by the previous administration and right wing dimwits blamed Biden for? That inflation?
Bidumb dumping $4 trillion into an economy that still hadn't completely re-opened from the plandemic sent inflation soaring. Just like his war on fossil fuels sent gas prices over $5 a gallon at one point, then he raids our Strategic Petroleum Reserves to bring those prices down, what a guy.

You are clueless as to how business works. If you don’t pass your costs on to your customers, you die. Period. You start at your cost, and then you mark up from there. If you can’t recoup your cost, you cease operations.

(Dumb + Ass) x 6.02 x 10^23 = You

You're preaching to the choir there Mr Obvious. What don't you seem to be able to understand there cletus? You can't pass the cost on until you pay them first. You literally have to pay your expenses before you can pass them on. You act like you don't have to pay them at all. Of course you have to pay them, and pay for them out of the cost of the product or service you sell. You're acting like you don't have to pay your expenses, somehow you pass them on without paying them. Class dismissed Cletus. Head on back down south and ban some books or marry your first cousin.

Sadly no, but I ran to the Walmart City market today for paper towels and checked on their eggs and butter.
Same deal…two cartons of eggs, each with 18 eggs were $11.99…I paid $10.99.
Butter one lb of Great Vslue (store brand) was $5.99 so I could have saved there.
Pics of FABULOUS cookies by chance?

Yep he was trying to stop the bleeding from the corrupt trump criminal adminstration. It's only going to be worse this time around, especially you minimum wage folks. Sorry, but I assume you will starve to death as soon as your excessive fat runs out.
