By floating this, the idea of NATO is already incredibly damaged and all blame lies solely on Donald Trump's shoulders.

I’m not sure if my fellow Americans will ever wake up….but the only way they might is if there is absolute chaos to their retirements, their communities…etc. so the more stuff Trump destabilizes the better in my opinion.

Actions speak louder than words. Especially with Trump who changes his mind every day. His administration’s words don’t mean shit.
Do the NATO members get to ask for their money back for helping after 9/11? Because the US is the only one that has ever invoked Article 5 and Iraq/Afghanistan mean jack shit to all of NATO.

Incidentally, former UI football player, and massive meathead, Matt Whitaker had a confirmation hearing to be the US Ambassador to NATO yesterday. He declared the US has an ironclad commitment to NATO.

The nations in the east that feel threatened are already there, so unless you think Russia is going to start a war by invading Canada, Spain, or Italy, it’s really a hollow threat.
Trump ran on getting people to actually pay their fair share. America is the checking* account and police department for every country in the world, there is a reason we have such high bills.

I haven't done the math or read proposals, but agree in principal with the idea of making NATO members pay their fair share.
I don't think there is any problem with like minded cultures banding together this way.
