A friend with usually reliable sources told me that there are quite a few mid to lower level people looking to retire soon. Not household names, but, people with quite a few years of service. Fred Mims recently retired, and Jane Meyer has moved on (For some reason that wasn't widely reported on). Given the speculation that Gary Barta may be forced out, there might be a very high level of turnover by the end of this year. A new President will be hired eventually for the University of Iowa, and that person may want to sweep away a few people.
