I'm being dead serious. Stone did a nice job attacking the LOS at times but is inconsistent and undisciplined. I know you understand that. Gervase played extremely well the last half of the season. I think Stone will be good when he is more disciplined and has better recognition, but he's definitely behind Gervase which is to be expected as Gervase has been on campus for 4 yrs. and Stone 1.

For what it's worth I've really come to enjoy your middle of the road approach. I swear you used to lean the other way?? With that said yeah he's plenty strong sometimes and yes so can I be, but most of these guys honestly they have it coming don't you think David?
On a sidenote I too think Hooker is the real deal, but I'm not going to argue the coaches decision regardless!
His strong opinions come more out of the frustration of the Internet super critic constantly belittling certain players.

Sounds like you should be sending in your game film evaluations to Kirk and staff. I don't know how this turned into a pissing match. I made an observation, you not only disagreed but called me various names for disagreeing. What are the other questions about Hooker's status for the first game of next season? He suffered a leg injury against OSU apparently. He isn't undergoing a surgery as far as we know of and he isn't looking at a suspension for an OWI.

Well, you guys can settle it on the wrestling mat. To get back on topic, could someone with some significant knowledge provide a reasonably impersonal evaluation of the four D backs and their reserves. Just strengths and weaknesses? That would help guys like me that did not play football in college.
Not disagreeing with you, however; not sure Stone played enough to determine he is not disciplined or not. I agree Gervase played much better as season went on and have no problem with him starting..... actually rarely have a problem with who is and is not starting because we as fans only see a very small percentage of the work that is put in
Well here's what you don't know. The last time this got serious, I reported the thread to Blair to check the IP address and then the thread got deleted. So that's pretty much all you need to know. I can't help you being dumb enough to even think that.
But see here's The bigger issue as it pertains to Personna and integrity... the difference between me and guys like you and your drunk friend. If I'm not pretty certain of something, I don't say it...I don't ever put myself out there to get trapped in a corner. But you guys literally say dumb crap all the time. It's the easiest thing in the world to figure out. I can't imagine for a computer/IT guy it would take much to check IP address.
But since I enjoy telling people what their "thinking" or what they're really trying to do...it's just another form of misdirection in an attempt to quiet people that are clearly more advanced when it comes to debate than you guys.
It also shows a complete lack of understanding of a debators goal or intent.
If any of you have been around long enough to see me post over the last 10 or 12 or 15 years the actual debate is the sport for me. I like twisting people into knots and trapping them in corners. Muskie just likes to tell you you don't know crap about football.
I'll go further than that...you have very little ability to comprehend real-time information and win an argument in any capacity.
And friend that is way more important than what you think about the football program. It just shows a real lack of intelligence or cognitive thinking skills.

Gervase throughout the year: prone to horrible angles, not good in man coverage, average in zone, like to get juked out of his shoes
Well considering the one game this year Snyder, Gervase, Taylor and Hooker were all healthy vs the Illinois the starters at safety were Snyder and Hooker so maybe that gives a good indication on why plus Hooker played SS more than other 2.
I will say this. Cm seems to be the manic side of the personality. His post are much longer, he uses much larger words, he will engage in friendly banter before going into defensive mode. Muskie seems to be depressed side. Much more vitriol, condescending, negative.
Decent insight but I would guess muskie is at least 10 years older than me and has only recently started posting and I think he generally doesn't like you guys me… I like screwing with you. You know kind of a stupid gets stupider kind of thing.

Partner I know you've got me blocked so this is just for everybody else that will read it...you wouldn't know a good football player if your dad introduced him to you. Snyder by every measurement and most people of importance thought he had a heckuva year last year as the season progressed and I'm pretty certain Hawkeye gamefilm on his Twitter feed said good things about him at the end of 2016. You know nothing about anything outside of cross country...

I get it, I see what your saying and quite frankly I too have been accused of similar at times. But here's where the rubber hits the highway... look around you, everybody that has a strong opinion about the coaches "sucking" also states their opinion like it's an authoritative fact. What really upsets people is it contradicts what they've said with an aggressive tone. He's not unusual and honestly I'm not screwing with you, but if you think he is...then you are clearly holding him to a different measurement than you are yourself and others.
I mean honestly what kind of person thinks all these critics were just politely saying OG "Kirk Ferentz sucks"...I mean they are saying this with anger and hostility and disdain and condescension...I mean come on let's be honest with ourselves here fellas.
