Two tourney games... a microcosm of the season

Dominate then come out flat. Fun season overall and I'm pumped to see Iowa back as a regular tourney team!

I wouldn't say the team came out flat.... ISU vs. UAB was flat.... in this game, we just ran into an Elite team that was on and there ain't no shame in losing to a team like that.... still love where this program is headed though, can't wait for next season

Yeah because Davidson and Gonzaga are about equal in talent.

I agree with you though that it was a fun year and hopefully we continue improving next season.

Inconsistent shooting killed us all season and it happened again.

The zags couldn't miss and part of that was to our poor defense.

Tonight's game iowa would get it down to 11pts and then turn it over or
miss a wide open shot.

Shooting needs to upgrade for next season.

after IA got it down to 11, IA went over 4 minutes before they scored again. and they were not highly contested shot either they were the short bunny attempts or no longer than 15' jumpers.

I am still not convinced they are a ELITE team they shot 61.5% from 3 on 10-16 shooting nobody is going to beat any team that hits 3's like that.
