Tyler's a better shot blocker and has better hops than Reggie. But I'd sure take Evans' rb numbers.
Just saw this vid of Jeremiah Tillman from 3 months ago. Class of 2017. He's 6'9"/215 grade 91 ESPN 5*#23. Yes, please Tyler, bring your teammate aboard!
Sounds good to me. Jeremiah likes to shuffle his feet, but has a lot of upside and length. Must have been pretty tough to play that team.
Tate reminds me of Basabe's Freshman year. A role player having to dominate on a crappy team. I do think Cook will be more.
Cook will do much more. He could have a Greg Brunner type of career and he has more atgletic ability than Brunner. If he can extend his range, look out America!

I'm not sure if you guys will be familiar with him but Cook reminds me of a guy who played at Arizona named Derrick Williams. I am hoping I am right on that one.
Cook is already rated higher than DWill was prior to arriving to Tucson. If Tyler listens to Fran and really matures his outside game I could see him developing into a similar player.

I like the thought. We'll see if Tyler can develop that kind of outside game. One thing I didn't see in the Williams clip that I have seen Cook do well is the jump hook.
I have to admit shamefully that last season in the first UofA/ASU game he was struggling mightily, Willie ran past our seats in McKale and I yelled out "you should have gone to Iowa.. Willie!"
He actually stopped running and gaped at me ☺️. I really feel like an ass about it, even if it is somewhat funny. I never heckle players.
I can see that comparison. Cook has decent form on his shot so hopefully he can extend his range. They both play similarly for sure.

Agreed about the hook, and those are reasons that could explain his better recruit ranking. This is good.
My favorite similarities are his instincts and viciousness around the rim and of course the superb athleticism all cumulated with what's close if not a college ready physique.
It has been over a week and Cook's commit still makes me feel great. Bet Moore wishes he had jumped on board.
I really like this class, Bohannon may surprise some folks. I like points who can pass and knock own the three.

Cook can play pretty much any style of play. Tony Bennett plays crazy slow and offered him and Mike Anderson plays at a crazy fast pace and offered him. Fun player to watch.
